Zach
I was just looking through my stats, and it tells me that I have found one of the unique jumps. What exactly is the point of this stat? I wasn't given any visual feedback about it, i.e., no on-screen message or anything. So, yes, I have apparently found one of the jumps, but so what? I have no clue where it is! (Yeah, I know, there are online maps showing the locations, but that's not my point. )
Mxyzptlk
Yean I'm not too sure either... unless if you are specifically looking for them and drive over a ramp, you can check your stats to see if it's a legit jump.

I agree; that seems like it could be the only reason for it, but that's stupid. Come on, R*, when I'm riding around on my bike and I see something to jump, I make the jump. I'm not going to hit the brakes and stop and look at my stats first. Edit: On the other hand, if I were riding around and I entered some proximity zone where the game would flash a "there's a unique jump nearby," then that would have been cool. Mxyzptlk
But some players would! I got 69/70 completed, 70/70 found.
reignking
You "find" it when you start the jump -- you see the overhead cutscene -- but don't complete it. You complete it when you fit whatever requirements it has -- reaching the other side, for example. It'll tell you "Unique Stunt" and you'll get a bonus...
