McDingus Posted June 13, 2005 Share Posted June 13, 2005 No, i have the same problem.. beeping over and over again... it's the pc speaker on the mobo or something... and it's not when i activate a cheat, it's constant as soon as the graphics resulotion choice menu pops up before the rockstar logo flashes up. maybe it's our hardware... here's mine Ecs Elitegroup mobo (piece of ... ? dirt?) KainAzeroth Posted June 13, 2005 Author Share Posted June 13, 2005 my hardware is a msi mother board i'm to lazy to look it up... geforce fx 5900 and a pentium 4 3.2 ghz... i use the onboard sound. Ok this is going to sound a little off the wall, but i think the program thinks a cheat is being activated over and over and i'm thinking it has to do with some sort of input device... I have a wireless keyboard and mouse from logitech... It's one of those mice keyboard combos with all the weird bells and whistles and i'm thinking it's that. I'm going to try another keyboard and mouse tomorrow, but who knows... check if you have anything else connected like a joystick or game pad... Why do they have to add sounds to these trainers? huh? anyone cool enough to edit the program or patch it? or tell the pizzadox people about it. The trainer just messes up everything! I wonder if pizzadox can fix it... I also have a set of wireless logitech mouse and keyboard! Desktop MX i think, with MX700 mouse.. Vito Cipriani Posted June 24, 2005 Share Posted June 24, 2005 (edited) seems like the keyboard is quite possible the sinner here? my brother is the one with the problem here (lucky me, i'm not wireless ) but i'll have him try it with another non-wireless keyboard and post here as soon as possible if it helped... !!! UPDATE: replacing the keyboard and mouse with an older (non-wireless) model seems to have stopped the beeping replacing only the keyboard makes the beeping randomly appear, but not stop completely... well... now you know !!! Its the music in the trainer coming through your PC's internal mobo speaker regardless of if you turn off the music. Dunno about anyone else but does the trainer still work for you guys because it won't work at all for me? I am not prepared to change my keyboard and mouse so I'll just be waiting til Lithjoe brings out his trainer which hopefully doens't do this lol.
