I really don’t know what to do… Thanks ! AMD Athlon XP 2800 + / 512MB DDR-SDRAM / Radeon 9600 / Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe / Nvidia nForce

fabienfreeman
Has someone the music on rear speakers ? Or only in stereo like me ? For Vice City and GTAIII, it's ok for 5.1. Why not with San Andreas ?
sonnybu1
Same problem here too, I believe it's normal. My workaround is pretty simple : I turn the cmss option of my audigy 2 card on. If you have a card of another brand you must have the option to pass a stereo sound through all the speakers without altering the 5.1 outputs. HKB
hehe... now a reason couldt be that you only make music in stereo so you cant play music in 5.1... or you wont get the soroundsound feel.....
darkfiber
I just double checked my system and I do hear music out of both the front and back speakers. I have a Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS with Logitech Z-5500 Digital 5.1 speakers. Now of course since the music isn't in 5.1. I am sure the rear right and left speakers are just playing the same stereo music as the front right and left speakers. The sound effects in the game however are in 5.1 surround and I can hear the sounds move around as my character turns and passes things. Pretty cool. Under START-->All Programs --> Creative -->Speaker Settings I have it set for 5.1 Speakers.
