Lol I don't think it is.

And, Holden Commodore... Holden Monaro tounge.gif the monaro fronts are similar with the commodore's fronts from the 1998-2002 models

Holden Commodore

VT (1997 - 2000)

A brand new, third generation model was introduced in 1997. It was almost fully based on the european Opel Omega B.

Well according to the article on Jalopnik where this kid probably got the photo, the engine is as follows:

The engine was stroked to 409 cubic inches, with a one off crank, rods and pistons installed to ensure the engine could withstand over 20psi of boost at 7200rpm. A Custom Camshaft and Ported Big Valve Heads were also used in the build. A custom supercharger kit was developed to allow a V7 YSi Supercharger to be driven off the crank with a 50mm gilmer pulley system. The supercharger kit install includes larger 3.5" pipework and a Custom 200mm thick intercooler with Mondo Bypass Valve mounted behind the front bumper. Exhaust Gasses leave the engine via CAPA 1 7/8" Tri-Y Extractors and a Twin 3" Exhaust.

Nice try.

I don't understand why people would lie about these sort of things on the internet. It's rather pathetic really.

03 Ford Fiesta 1.4 Zetec.

I got it yesterday funnily enough. I've had 2 Fiestas now. My old one was the same, but a 1.25 2004 model, which also had Zetec S alloys and the facelift front lights and grille. Sadly I wrote it off though sad.gif

Mint condition and only 33,000 miles as well.. Drives like a dream, with only one minor gear lever issue (doesn't sit in neutral properly, which makes going from 5th to 3rd frustrating sometimes) but it should be an easy fix.

Return spring is what you're looking for,

Lift the gear gaitor and you shall see then iirc.

Front lights are a straight swap for facelifts, have a google for ukfn

Some of the fenders are a bit rusty and badly fixed with glass fiber filler and the spare tire bowls are rusty, but these are pretty common rust areas on 140/240's.

Other than that it's in pretty good condition, the interior is as good as new and the motor is swapped for a newly renovated B20. I'm getting it pretty cheap as well and parts are cheap since most are the same as the early 240's.

As an example some repair sheet-metal (or whatever it's called in english) for the fenders are only like $20 and I've got pretty much everything available to weld and re-spray them once swapped. Some of you may recall my brothers A-traktor that i poster earlier somewere which is also a 140 that i swaped the rear fenders on for him on so i've got the know-how already.

Good choice of car chadg. Ford Mondeo's are quite good cars. Not the most exciting, but good cars nonetheless.

Or a contour as I believe the yanks had it as.

Mondeo's are fairly competant handling cars, well at least from the mk3 onwards in my experience.

I've seen the facelift front lights go for about £100, I actually prefer the pre-facelift rear lights so I think I'd keep them - unless I can find some nice LEDs, but I'm very picky. All the LEDs I've seen are either too black or too silver. I'm looking for red ones, that don't stand out too much until I hit the brakes.

Under the gear gaiter is just 2 poles going into what looks like some sort of hydraulic system (though it's obviously not) like pistons or something, I can't see anything else down there.

Few of mine on top of the world. Even let Pat try to drive it. Also, a nice size comparison.

Not a fan of those wheels. Get yourself a nice set of BBS splits, HTN Race wheels, Schmitt Modern Lines or Ronals. Or bes of all, some Porsche wheels (RH splits from a 964 Turbo are my personal favourite).

Needs a LOT more poke too, frond and rear. It's about the right height though, and the best colour too! Seeing it makes me want another Corrado SO badly. I will own another G60, hopefully with a 20v 1.8T with a twin-screw or Eaton charger on it in place of the turbo, and 8v badges.

4 stud wheels though man, they'll do for the time being... They don't look too bad to be honest.

Seen some very very very sexy ronals though that suit it down to the ground!

If I keep it though, it's gonna be having a slight colour change...

I know someone whose breaking a Mk3 VR6 if you want 288mm brakes and/or 5-lug hubs?

I'm wondering, would any 5x130 hubs and brakes from a 944 turbo/turbo S, late 928, 968, any recentish 911, Cayenne, etc be adaptable for Golfs/Corrados/etcs or would the Porsche stuff just be way too big? I've seen a good number of fwd VW's wearing Porsche rims but I'm guessing they were just using 4x100 to 5x130 adapters?

That Skyline is worthless, my old Volvo with a 1.8 and a 2bbl Weber 36 carburator smokes Skylines daily. Buy your Skyline and give me a call, ill smoke y'all. With or without my windscreen installed.
