Used BMW 328i 2007 with 64k miles on it for $18k, hell of a deal.

The E90 has really grown on me. I used to think they were dull, but now I really like them. Might replace my A4 with a 335i saloon now I seem to be doing less and less milage.

+1

I'm sure you can find a nice used set: I've seen lots of 3 drivers switching to aftermarket ones.

Amen. A friend of a friend is selling a '95 Audi S2 6-speed. 80k, midnight blue, ropey as hell. Thinking of buying it as a cheap track project- stripped to bare bones, V8 rear diff, K26/GT28RS hybrid, coilovers, homebrewed (i.e bike based) exhaust and old 911 brakes. I reckon I can get 350bhp and 1400kg wet for about £5k- £3k for the car, £1k back selling bits and £3k tweaking. Now just need to get it past the missus...Yeah right.

Got bored and had GoDK record me pulling away in my jeep. f*cker cant work a camera to save his life.

Its loud...but good. Going through a tunnel is fun. Doesn't sound nearly as tractorish as Lurch though it would sound.

BTW: If it means anything to you folks, I was pretty damn far away after about 9 or 10 seconds. You could still hear that lil f*cker.

I'm sure that's the only reason! tounge2.gif

The car I have isn't big enough either, especially on day trips. My kids don't seem to appreciate footwells and laps being loaded with stuff needed for day out. Next April, I will be upgrading my prized C4 to this:

Is it the angle of the photo or is the Ford really that much bigger then your amazon?

The Ford is huge compared to the Volvo, but the angle also makes it look bigger than it is. wink.gif

03 Ford Fiesta 1.4 Zetec.

I got it yesterday funnily enough. I've had 2 Fiestas now. My old one was the same, but a 1.25 2004 model, which also had Zetec S alloys and the facelift front lights and grille. Sadly I wrote it off though sad.gif

Mint condition and only 33,000 miles as well.. Drives like a dream, with only one minor gear lever issue (doesn't sit in neutral properly, which makes going from 5th to 3rd frustrating sometimes) but it should be an easy fix.

Well according to the article on Jalopnik where this kid probably got the photo, the engine is as follows:

The engine was stroked to 409 cubic inches, with a one off crank, rods and pistons installed to ensure the engine could withstand over 20psi of boost at 7200rpm. A Custom Camshaft and Ported Big Valve Heads were also used in the build. A custom supercharger kit was developed to allow a V7 YSi Supercharger to be driven off the crank with a 50mm gilmer pulley system. The supercharger kit install includes larger 3.5" pipework and a Custom 200mm thick intercooler with Mondo Bypass Valve mounted behind the front bumper. Exhaust Gasses leave the engine via CAPA 1 7/8" Tri-Y Extractors and a Twin 3" Exhaust.

Nice try.
