I'm not too worried about paying off the truck. KBB has led me to believe that my truck is worth near $9k more than what I owe on it. I really want an F-150 Platinum!

I will have to take a gander at an F-150 Platinum. Are they the 2009's or the older gen?

'09. Interior quality is on par with that of the Navigator and has things that my truck lacked, such as power retractable running boards, heated and cooled seats (mine just had heated), and 10-way power adjustable seats (mine lacked seat back and lumbar).

I know this is a forum and yeah you are entitled to your opinion but every once in a while could you just think before you post cause virtually every post you have ever made in this section of the forums has been offensive if not indirectly towards people. All you seem to do is try to get a raise out of people when you post. I'm sorry if im coming across as a prick but if you dropped the german fanboyism and actually took into appreciation that different people like different things then you would save yourself alot of hassle, just a thought.

40k seems a bit pricey for an 03 RS6. I know it's half what it cost new and all, but most I see are going in the mid 20's-low 30's range. I know it has a few mods and all, but that doesn't really add to the value much (if any) when selling it. Depreciation is a bitch for cars like that.

 

Oh, and Mikal, didn't you want an RS6 a while back?

I know 40k is a bit high but I thought I would try. No but the car is paid for I have owned it for almost 3 years paid 41k for it. I will take 35k.

Yeah, I've wanted a lot of cars.. Including the RS6, S4 Avant and Cabrio, R32, etc. But, I've moved more into huge trucks and SUV's preferably in the higher and more luxurious end of the Ford lineup (Navi, Mark LT, F-Platinum, F-HarleyD, Excursion, etc.)..

Well, i looked around here and there and found some pictures of a few cars this family has had during the years. Here's a picture of me and our beautifuuuuuuuuul Cadillac Seville from '75. One in this condition in Sweden is pretty rare! It was f*cking SPOTLESS! This picture is probably taken 1993 or 94.

Here's the second beautiful Cadillac we had, a Sedan Deville from 1978. It was an import, came from Cali i think. We had this car during the end of the 20th century and during the beginning of the 21st. It's probably at a junkyard today

And at last, the Chevrolet Astro we had. I don't know when it was made nor when these pics were taken. I truly loved this car, we sold it after three weeks, because we got one hell of an offer!

Growing up with american cars like these in Sweden was pretty fun, i tell ya. Damn great memories.

My dad's had that car around 8 or 9 years, and has only been pulled over once. The dickhead cop that pulled him over took the red light he had for it. Pulled him over for bad tags.

 

Down our street there's a bridge over a small creek. Before the bridge was redone, there was a HUGE bump in it, and you couldn't really see over it, but could catch some air if you were going fast enough. So to cheer me up one day he decides to hit that bump going about 95 in 40mph zone. There was a cop going the opposite direction on the other side, which we passed in the air. The frame is a little bent, and the bottom is scraped up a little on the front, but the the cop DID NOT pull us over.

 

I love that car, it's like immune to police.

Well i was parking up and wanted to reverse to level myself and one of my friends started talking and got me sidetracked, i thought that i left it in reverse so i just accelrated and hit the wall. Everyone in the car just went quiet so i sat there for like a few secconds and just said "sh*t.", had a look at the front of the car and nothing had changed. It already had a few battle scars but im yet to wound it.
