Ive f*cked up my right indicator on it, I think the capacitor has blown it either indicated REALLY fast or not atall.

 

But shes a nice ride, quite a nippy bugger for a 1.2

 

And the interior is f*cking ace

Aww c'mon man, they're not considered 'ricer' at all in england. I, personally didnt put them on, if anything the only time i'm gonna take them off is when i put on the same pair but with a black casing, they look much better.

 

Panch - Nice car. Is it an SXI model? My friend has the same but in black and it accerlerates pretty damn quick for a little 1.2 engine. They're definetly nice both inside and outside, alotta good mods going for them as well.

Ye its the SXi Model.

 

I fixed the indicator, turned out the flash unit had came loose, so a few taps sorted it.

Really don't think that was necessary, and again, I know this will sound harsh to you- but you are 15. Your idea of the purpose and value of cars is much different from others. This is a Member's Car topic, not "Rate my car!". The description saying, "Don't be afraid" is there for a reason. A reason you are disproving.

I don't have a picture of my car, but I can show the model.

 

It's a Mazda 323. The rims, the front bumper and the black stripes/door handles are different. Also, mine has the wheel on the left, you damned brits!

205 looks nice actually. Everything is fine down to the wheel arches. 206 WRC style spoiler skirts and front bumper look sh*te. They look bolted on, and unoriginal. The lights look really well blended in and I think from a higher angle they'd grow on me. Craftsman ship second to none.

 

Why did you do it to a rallye and put 17s on though?! Thos cars are f*cking quick! With 17's you've lost a lot of accel. I think lowered 40-60 mil on original rallye rims would look so much nicer. Or some shiny euro deep dish.

 

Just to prove that actually is your car, how much the headlight conversion cost?

Errmm, hate to break it to you, but I'm 17 in a month or two and as I've said, just becuase I don't have a license, doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about or that I don't know how to drive...

 

I have to put up with ridiculous 205s, 206s, Fiesta's, Punto's and Saxo's like that the whole time, they look awful... Especially when someone transplants the lights from some other car... The 205 looks nice, leave it that way...

 

Edit - As Dup said, it's well done, it blends well, I jsut don't like the way it looks... Well done on the Megane though

I on the other hand think that 205 looks sh*t hot. The headlights definetly suit the profile along with the car, not to keen on the choice of colour, a deep kandy red would have looked sweet.

I must admit that pic makes the front bumper look a bit odd, but was only hosted pic I couldnt be botherd to post another.

The reason it was done to a Rallye was I got the car as a 1 owner 26k car back in 2000, and due to numerous things happening like getting hit by a lorry, walked across, broken into & tiles blown onto it the paint didnt match so I went the hole hogg and had it all done at once.

Then I went and had the headlights done as the kit didnt look quite right with 205 headlights, ive not used it for a year now since it was featured - going to be doing more to it soon but leaving the bodywork for now (wings changing tho)

 

17's are just for looks, it doesnt get driven everyday so it's just been done to look pretty & while the Rallye is quick it's nothing spectacular.

If I was building a 205 for fast use i'd start with a 1.0l and leave it looking like a base model then just go nut's with weight saving, handling & a heap of power (and by that I dont me a 5" exhaust & nos!! on the 1L engine! )

There's loads of peeps across your way, so you should be able to get it done for under £200 to a good standard as well.

 

The mean look is great on motorways, people look in the rear view mirror and just pull out of the way

 

Well it defo needed a re-spray anyway and by the time it made it to the body shop, my mate had rammed me into another car anyway so it was either get it done or scrap such a rare car.

heres my 1999 Ford Taurus SE last time i cleaned it...or somewhere around then. its nice. i think im gonna get the inside next time. basically i have a V6 engine under there thats sweet as hell. some mods have been done to the timing and i replaced the ECU among other things here and there. ive gone against many cars. lost some. won others. ive done the 1/4 mile in about 12.5seconds. not too bad. but other than that, i have no real specs on a racing strip. mostly street other than that. top speed that ive gotten on the highway when there was few cars was roughly 125mph.

lmao. pretty much. its good fun though. i seriously abuse this car. but its been able to put up with everything so far so i cant complain too much. and yeah Joe. i know. i still think it couldve gotten higher. the point was to see if i could do it with the ECU being replaced. before that i was only able to get it up to about 115mph and then it would just stay there accelerating. damn electronic limit that i had to get removed.

JoeyM - Look much nicer from a different angle . I still don't liek the bodykit though, I just hate hatches with bodkyits, or any car for that matter, unless it's a really nice Veilside kit . Points for it actually being a quick 205 though .

Thats not bad going though, espesh with the low speed limit's you have out there.

 

I have a limiter on the CC (areo dynamics, lol) - if the roofs down it wont go past 115 (it gets a tad windy!), roof up and it tops at 130, on private race track of course Not bad for a Diesel

 

JJHW - Thanks, I would have at one point argued that you where of course wrong but people like different things, so no ones right or wrong when it comes to personal prefference. I like it, so I dont care what other people think Always open to feedback though - creative feedback anyway lol.
