This is the block waiting to go in. (check out the shovel for size comparison)

13b bridgeport with all the goodies. It might not look like much, but its gonna be loud enough to piss off neighbours 3 blocks away and quick enough to scare the sh*t out of myself. Gonna be fun biggrin.gif

You're the one who had the long thread where you rebuilt your RX7 right?

Nah theres not much point mate, havent got the money to do it. I plan to buy a GTI when i build up a few years NCB's so id rather put any money i get into saving for that then messing around with my 1.6. Also if you look at the pictures of my path (the one with the woman(my mum)on the grass) you will notice my path is uphill and the bumper is already slightly scraping the paving slabs when i park it up.

EDIT - I just realised my path isnt shown very clearly but i think you will understand what i mean, check out the micra up my path compared to next doors path.

Hanz is looking good, if you have the cash and time I would get some GTI rear lights. They make the car look a bazillion times better, especially on a black Golf. Debadging the rear (except the VW logo) would be easy and would look win, so would swapping the rubber trim for some body-coloured strips.

I actually like your idea's, how much would it cost to debadge the back of it minus the VW emblem? I may get a black emblem like the one pictured below.

I may also look into getting some of these rather then the GTI backlights

De-badging is'nt expensive. You can use a hairdryer and dental floss to remove it and some gunk remover to get rid of the glue.

Any tutorials for this?

Try either google or youtube.

It's simple really, use the hairdryer to heat up the glue on the badge (obviously not keeping it on one point too long or you may damage the paint work) after a few minute's, take a length of dental floss and run it behind the badge using a saw-like motion. If it's not moving repeat again with the hairdryer till it comes off.

Then to get rid of any excess glue use the gunk away stuff.

douse it in lighter fluid and it soon drops off.

Failing that, kettle fresh water and fishing wire, t-cut the gunk off.
