Pretty bold look with the 176's. Think it will look better without the M-Sport bumper. Also somewhat controversial but I reckon it needs Ambers up front.

Ambers looks good on pre-facelifts in my opinion. Never liked them on facelift E39's unless they are red or green.

Always loved the look of the 80s and 90s cars, Props to you man for keeping it original, because it's quite hard to find some decent retro cars, cheers

I still have my 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser GX.R FZJ100. Currently done around 210K Kilometres so far which's considered "low" in comparison to other Cruisers of it's age lol. This is "my" only car at the moment as i sold my rav4 earlier this year.

Still looking for a new daily, anything from a Civic Hatch to a Panther Body. As long as it's not a Nissan Versa/Sunny.

repairing the old and worn out torsion bar at home instead of taking it to a mechanic out of town to save money. massive pain, never again

New whip has arrived! Took 6 months, but it is finally here. 2021 Toyota Harrier, Z leather package hybrid. All the bells and whistles. God damn is it a smooth ride.

Hit a deer.  Doesn't look particularly bad, but over $12k in repairs needed.  It took out the intercooler, radiator, core support, AC components, both headlights, bumper cover, hood, seat belts.  Another $4k in damage and it would've been totaled.

Worst part is the car is in the middle of Iowa.  We don't live or work in Iowa.  The car was being driven home from Chicago to Las Vegas.

Nice car, my Canada-built RX330 was sold as a Toyota Harrier in Japan up until Lexus was launched as a different brand over there.

Ohh nice car! I see those on occasion around here, with the Harrier badge. Shame Toyota wouldn't use the Harrier name worldwide, instead calling the new Harrier a Venza. Also shame they dropped the Harrier badge, it was pretty cool.

After some hard work, I was finally able to treat myself with a new car. It's the new Megane RS Line, 1.3L, 4cyl 140 hp with a 7 speed dual clutch. Drove it for almost 800km this weekend around Tuscany and so far I'm super happy about her.

The Lancia Y is still with me and I will be using it as a daily to get to work for one year or so (probably until we trade it in for an electric car).

Nice, looks great! We don't even get the Megane IV hatch in Denmark anymore, only the estate. Aside from the R.S. of course. I think the engine and gearbox lump is the same that I have in my Clio V 1.3L 130 EDC? It's quite a solid package!

My friend decided to trade his car in so I gave him his Michelin's back that I was using on my other wheels & stole his 19's for a bit. They were quite aggressive but if I rolled the rear quarters I probably could have gotten away with running them longer.

Since I needed to order new tires I also decided I wanted new wheels as I like the aftermarket look the 19's had. Saw these M4 Comp replica's and instantly knew I needed a set & wrapped them in some Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's. Really happy with how they look & how awesome the tire's perform as well - I like them more than the Michelin PSS & PS4 I ran on the other wheels so far this summer.

Yup, same engine and same EDC gearbox but with 10hp more. For now I'm super satisfied about the engine, quite sporty and got a decent fuel economy when you want to!

Cheers Siv. It is tidy. 59k miles. Its the 272PS 3.5l V6, a.k.a W209 350. Its got great history, Full MB service, not gonna say "fully loaded" but its got almost every option ticked. Massage seats, Keyless entry and go, nav, rare sports pack, Harmon Kardon sound, all kinds of crazy sh*t. I pulled the build options from the Vin and it runs almost two full pages. Mercs werent really on my "looking for" list, you may remember I had this models predecessor, the W208 many years ago and it wasnt a great car. This version is light years ahead though. So far so good, needs a few little jobs doing, front bearing and brake pads wearing were noted on last MOT, and to be honest, could probably use a few new tyres, but all things considered its looking OK.

M272? I really liked the 3.5 SLK I drove, made a good noise too.  Has it had the balance shaft gear issue sorted? Imagine it should have by now.

Yep. That's the one. Agreed, noise is nice too, brilliant burble on startup and with the top down rolling the power on, it sounds great.

Balance shaft, yep that's the right question to ask. This one's in the danger date for it so I asked too. Not expecting much the guy got back to me. "Oh yes all done" I went through the stack of receipts, it was done a few years back by MB, at the cost of £3800...
