Man, that's an absolute beauty. I have a special place in my heart for these X308 XJs. My mum had one in british racing green when I was growing up.

Rear drive shaft broke and ripped transfer case in two. Front drive shaft was also broken. Replaced all three with transmission, differential fluids and oil changed out to be on safe side..

Could never find my drive shaft...

Nice looking ram! I just sold out last October and sold mine for a Ford. I still have the old drive shaft for the Ram in my garage.

It's okay, needs work I need to finish. Glad it's getting warmer out. End game for my Ram, finish visual and my front end stuff.. After that, spacers, 2" drop and some flares. Plan to get a engine swap but we'll see on that one. IF I can afford it, either Hellcat, 392 swap or.. LS7 or 427 Big Block. Wiring will be a bitch when I plan to do this, and I'll need another sh*tbox to drive while Ram has no motor.

Very nice! I loved my Ram but it developed a shaking problem at 35mph that no one could figure out. Pictures won't suffice once you finish the swap. :p We will need to see a video. What front end stuff are you working on?

Just the usual, brakes and sh*t like that. Last I checked them out, they were good but change them out when weather is nicer. And could your shaking be caused by tie roads, axle, etc? Too bad you didn't have it still, would suggest seeing if the wheels wiggle back and forth or up and down. Could've been many things. My truck shakes near 90km/h to 100km/h but stops below or over that threshold but I know it's cause of the off-road/AT tires on the highway, only time it does it. Normal pavement doesn't cause it.

No where near close enough to begin the engine swap, just something I'll want to do in the future.

I've previously posted some pics of my project on here, so figured I'd post a update.

Bodywork is mostly done, just need to sand it back again and it's ready for paint... just about anyway.

For those that didn't see the previous post, it's a 1974 XB Ford Falcon Hardtop.

It's been awhile since I've been on here.  My partner bought a brand new 2019 Buick Regal for work last year.  He buys previous model year cars for deep discounts most of the time.  Stickered for $36,000, but purchased for $22,000.  He uses it for work.  The mileage he gets paid more than covers for the car note, insurance, and gas.

I still own the 2015 Ram 1500 Big Horn.  I'm enjoying no car payment.  Also has a lifetime warranty, so I'm hopefully set for awhile.

Looks great man, nice and clean! Have you settled on colors and stuff yet, or is it too early in the process?

I’ve been going back and forth between the original colour and black. The original colour is Apollo Blue, which is a pretty amazing metallic blue.

The custom option is a colour called Attitude Black Metallic which is a metallic black with a blue pearl. It’s a Toyota colour which is probably a bit blasphemous but it looks awesome.

That attitude black looks awesome! Can't wait to see the finished car. Already looks great as is!

We've got these here in Australia, although we call them a Holden ZB Commodore here. They were a terrible failure as they were replacing an Australian icon, the traditionally rear wheel drive and V8 powered sedans replaced by a German FWD with a V6.

We ended manufacturing here a few years ago and Holden tried to keep the nameplate going, but alas, it's now completely dead.

It is the car of many names.  In Europe it's the Opel Insignia.

This. I was really surprised when I first found out Insignia was produced as Buick Regal in North America. The fact that a once powerful American muscle car is now replaced with an European FWD sedan probably makes deceased muscle fans turn in their graves. It feels so weird.

Photos are from Thruxton. Very fast but nicely flowing track, and is quite surreal to drive around with planes + helis using the airfield at the same time.

Recently picked this up from a friend for very cheap. E38 740i. Have been fixing a few things, serviced it and will enjoy it over the summer. Not something I want to pour money into but I am happy to maintain it as such.

My first V8 service. 8 spark plugs took me a while but access wasn't bad! Cam cover gaskets need going as the spark plug wells were full of oil.

Of course the original fuel line started leaking once it was disturbed to change the OG 1998 filter. Has been bodged bypassed with a meter of 8mm fuel hose for now and no longer leaks.

I'm not a BMW person per say but watching M539 restorations has pushed me to try something new. It's not an awful car to work on either in all honesty. Golden era BMW imo

New whip next to my old whip. Clio V 1.3 TCE R.S. Line replacing my Megane RS 250. Not nearly as fun to drive, but a bit (lot) more comfortable for my daily commute, and hopefully a tad bit better on my wallet, haha.

She’s getting nicer with time. I’ve been tinkering with cosmetics and changed the wheels again. I scored a nice deal for these Mustang GT wheels on Pirellis for $300. Only had like 25 miles on them and they were stored in a nice space afterwards.

Been busy so far this spring. Started by modernizing the interior with a Eonon 9" touch screen headunit, very nice to have bluetooth, nav, carplay and all that now. Also got super lucky and found a rare OEM sun shade & shelf at the local wreckers which I recently retrofitted. Color matched my reflectors up front, refinished my 'new' wheels & mounted some fresh Michelin pilot super sports on them. Did a full suspension refresh and put some Vogtland lowering springs in as well.

The ol girl's got some new shoes, and some tire poke; the pro's of beefy tires and some shiny chrome.

It's all slowly coming together on this rig, small fixes day by day...

my new caaaaaaaaaaaar

a 2004 Peugeot 206 XS, 1.6 liter 16 valve engine, with a very decent 109hp engine. sh*t drives insanely well, and it's lowered on some sports shocks which will be leaving first chance i get since its very bumpy inside. being the cheapest one on the market, it has flaws, yes, but not many. mechanically solid, everything is excellent except the rear torsion bar which will be repaired soon.

Little update on the E39

Got some Style 176's for it.
Kan een afbeelding zijn van auto en buitenshuis

Now it needs some lowering and a few other goodies and I'll be satisfied for a while.

The M-bumper is gone and I've put the facelift bumper back on it, need to shoot some pics of how it looks soon.
