Welp you know, it's a weekend car, solely for bling bling and enjoyment. And currently, my family's (and by family's, I mean dad's) workhorse vehicle is a 2006 Volkswagen Touran, it's the daily driver and all.

 

While I'm at the driving part, I was the main driver last Saturday, so I drove it all day, from early morning till nightfall. Went down south to Trebinje with my family, beautiful place. Ran into quite a few idiots, as always, with one very close near miss. Long story short, it was a narrow road, ugly turn, a hill obstructs view so you can't see what's beyond. I was driving pretty relaxed, obeying the traffic laws, and all of sudden, a BMW X6 comes out of the turn, cuts the corner crossing over into my side of the road. Wasn't that close, tho but the interesting thing is as follows: not 5 minutes later, the same thing happened, but luckily on a wider road - a gray Passat B5 I think. Half of his car crossed on my side of the road, and we barely missed each other - the side mirrors were about less than 10 centimeters apart, at about 60 km/h. f*cking kamikaze. Anyways, drove 450 kilometers in total, good times.

Just got this 940 with lowering springs and new rims for pretty cheap. I got the original grill but had to take it off for now so I can take off the "1000m" lights (not sure what they're called in English). Thinking about painting the bumpers red but not sure yet.

Desperately needs new wheels. Also needs to be washed, but on this road it would have just gotten dirty again anyway.

 

 

Next time I drive on this road I'll either bring a passenger or something to mount my cellphone to the dash with so that I can record a POV drive. There's a hill not too far after this clearing where I had some pretty serious wheel spin before I finally cleared it.

Not even 3 months and I've already damaged my truck. Not bad, but still...

 

I was backing up into a carport and did not notice the cabinets hanging on the wall (they were the same color as the wall). put a bunch of little dings in the top of the tailgate and bent the metal enough to where the handle doesn't fit correctly anymore. It's not noticeable until you walk up to it. But it's already dropped off at the body shop to get repaired. The fortunate part is I damaged the one part that is easily removed (took less than 5 minutes) and I don't lose the use of my truck.

Placing on a flat area makes it so much easier to repair.

It is really tempting, I personally prefer them with those, actually mostly seen them with the square lights. so yes, I might do.

The car looks fine, Indeed it does.. But I have to ask whats up with the fender on the passenger side?

Maybe it's just reflections, but it looks kinda off!

I own a low mileage M3 which I'll probably never sell and I'm looking for a second car. The f-type, cayman gt4 (if it weren't sold out already), clk 63 black or my favourite: a 997 GT3 if I can find one within my budget.

The only car on there that doesn't really belong is the f-type. A bit more GT than the others.

We're moving next month.

 

But whatever, if I test a car it's going to be my way.

The dealer proposed to take it to a local trackday next week because they know it's really important to me, also my wife drives a RRS bought there.

 

pro tip: never buy a demo sportscar!

Like you say, it's a wonderful GT. It sounds great, handling is too soft for me but it's still fun as it's quite tailhappy. I love the design but I don't think it's the right car for me at the moment.
