I used to work at a Volvo dealership here, I grew to like the S60's but moreso the T5 versions over the T6. For some odd reason I found the T5's to be more smooth, torquey & responsive over the T6's. That said the Polestar tuned T6's were quite fun. I got to use a C70 has a demo (what we call staff cars here) for a bit in the summer which I really enjoyed as it was silver with a red interior and nice wheels which was an attention grabber. My biggest complaint about them though were the automatic transmissions in them in both auto/sport/manual mode seemed real sluggish and often times confused as to what it wanted to do. But congrats on the new job and new demo, I love that blue they come in!

Freshly polished so she shines like a Bmw should now, plus I plastidipped my roof rack to better match the car. Now just need to color match my Thule roof box and figure out what I need to do to adapt it to the OEM Bmw cross bars as they are thicker than every other roof rack out there & she'll be ready for summer camping adventures!

Yeah I can agree with you on the automatic, but hey, I'm so use to drive my 740's so it's hard to complain really! :D

thanks man, yeah love the blue aswell! :D Make the car look so happy and full of joy! :D

BTW your Bimmer looks amazing!

My friend also got a E46 but a touring, his thinking about putting the M3 front on it :)

I might be in Stockholm soon. Theres a pilot meeting at the SAAB simulator in Arlanda. Its possible I might be making the trip.

Did someone say Saab??

To remain OT, I was driving to pick up a friend in need and on the way back I stumbled upon a familiar shape standing among many other cars at an auto shop:

17615_920373181318295_120285567069851667

It was sort of sad. It had a lot of new rust on it and as you can see, the license plates had been turned in. Guess that's it, I was the last guy who ever got to drive this thing. It's really too bad. It gave me a hell of a lot of memories, but I'm certain there would be many, many more.

Ha, I got the same truck, year and everything but it's just a regular one. I recognized it from the dashboard, funilly enough.

Here's a pic of it, dunno if I posted it here before or not. It's sh*tty since I was focusing more on the sky but I'll try to get a better one taken up.

An unmodified Mk4 Supra, that's rare.

Yessir, took about 2 years and looked at about 10 supras across the US before i found the "right" one. In the 4 years of ownership the only thing i've replaced is the stock crank pulley with an ATi damper and replaced the stock tachometer with a TRD 10k tach. Also replaced the stock head unit with a Kenwood double din, otherwise it remains completely unmodded. I do have big plans eventually though but plan to keep exterior stock (except wheels and headlights). This summer i'll be putting a ETS 4" intercooler and ETS 4" Titanium catback on and eventually i'll ditch the stock twins and go single.

Man thats nice, one of my fav cars of all time, actually one of few Asian cars I actually like!

How much did it cost if I may ask? in sweden one have to pay around $30,000 for one of those with the steering LHD.. then maybe $50,000 for a TwinTurbo!

Anyways congrats to your car! :D Realy nice to see! :D

Bought 4 years ago for $21,500 US dollars. Honestly not sure if Supra prices have gone up or down since. Mine was a 1 owner California car, unmodified, original paint/body panels, 128k miles

Hardtop Supras here in the states are more sought after and often quite abit more expensive than Targa models. Also, certain factory paint colors (rsp, msb, qs) tend to fetch a higher value than the standard black, red, white, etc.

I was originally looking for <100k miles but when I was looking to purchase all with 60-100k miles were selling for $35-40k so I had to "settle" with over 100k to stay within my $30k budget at the time.

Probobly have gone up, but In Sweden specially the Supras are more expensive! usually people import them from the UK, so they are RHD

Here is a configureation on the value in Sweden

RHD, Non turbo, Auto - $5,000

RHD, Non turbo, Manual - $10,000

RHD, TwinTurbo, Auto $10,000

RHD, TwinTurbo, Manual $15,000

----

LHD Non turbo, Auto, Auto $10,000

LHD, Non turbo, Manual $15,000

LHD, TwinTurbo, Auto $20-25,000

LHD, TwinTurbo, Manual $30-50,000

Then these are probobly never unmodified cars!

Targa don't matter to much, I if i went to get one it would have to be one like yours, TT, Targa, Manual and LHD

Nothing too special, but took the B class out for a drive down to our friends place yesterday for ANZAC Day in Fitzroy Falls.

Absolute beautiful weather all day till about 5:00 pm and a good drive too for the B class since the Mercs don't go out in hot nor stormy weather.

All of those rocks are just temporary, until we put concrete there. Better than keeping the car on the street.

Re-dipped my rims to freshen up the violet and added two coats of glossifier so they don't fade as fast as they did.

Let the party begin :) It's only the 2.3 variant of the 190e family. Totally forgot about the "Baby Benzes" when i was trying to figure out what i was getting. Still a fun drive and smooth as hell.

Welcome to the MB club. That one looks nice. The 2.3 is a decent motor for it. Like the color too. Dark green with tan interior is one of the best combos.

Slap some Euro headlights and a set of Monoblocks on and you've got an awesome looking car.

Currently driving around a 320D auto. Had a 1.8 MX5 RS NB for weekends but I wasnt finding the time to work on it or enjoy it so I got a daily driver. I will probably keep this for a year or 10 :p

You guys always have some weird Bmw's over there haha. That said I wish we got more Bmw diesels over here, I really enjoyed driving the 335D we got a few years ago - just waves of torque down low which I found fun in the city for a daily.

Finally got around to fitting my Thule which I intended to do last week but life got in the way. Had to modify it a little bit, but now she's ready for camping (or snowboarding if I winter drive her) trips! Gonna drive a few days just to make sure its solid, then off it comes to get dipped matte black to better match the car.

@ Killerdude8; Nice to see a fellow Albertan here, 780 or 403? In my opinion Yellow would look good on that car, but I would also do accent color of some kind - most likely black to break it up a little. Same idea with silver though I'd use a blue accent. And by accents I mean on a front lip spoiler & stripes on the hood - just to help break it up a little and make it stand out more.

Was 780, But I just got finished moving cross country to Ontario, Just need to ship the car and I'm set to rip around some more.

Kinda sad not being able to drive it, 7 months of sitting not running, get it running, move away a week later.

I might go Yellow with the Black/grey/silver decal

This was taken a couple of years before the idea of restoring it. My gramps mostly used to go to the village and back.

Looks like I got to get under the hood tomorrow and figure out what's up with the Merc. I took it out when I got home from work to drive around the block and it died on me again (3rd time). When I was backing up to park at my apartments, the car accelerated and the car locked up as if it was off and in park. Hit the fence, but not hard to break anything noticeable at the time since it was night. Put it in drive to inch forward and it almost did it again, but luckily not too much.
