Post a pic of your car here!

Silence, I think I'm in love with your car. Those rims look gorgeous.

Thanks, its still got a long ways to go though. Next year I'll most likely be getting rid of the wheels for a smaller set (18's) most likely since they are kinda beat up in person, and having low profiles in my area suck (way too many potholes).

@ Killerdude8; Nice to see a fellow Albertan here, 780 or 403? In my opinion Yellow would look good on that car, but I would also do accent color of some kind - most likely black to break it up a little. Same idea with silver though I'd use a blue accent. And by accents I mean on a front lip spoiler & stripes on the hood - just to help break it up a little and make it stand out more.

Here's my 2 cents for the spring/ coil debate - I am not a huge fan of coils and would personally go one of two ways to lower my car. Either a really good set of springs & shocks or air bags. Whenever I decide to lower my Bmw I'll be going the spring & shock combo - most likely Koni's & H&R's to get the right height and maintain a smooth ride. Maybe next year.

Been really slow at work lately so I decided to do something in between jobs today. My clear corners were way too bright for my liking so I sanded then down & smoked them. Then asked the painter at work to throw on a few coats of clear (bodyshop perks lol). Came out nice for a $10 mod! Next up is a good polish this weekend hopefully and tail lights getting wrapped as well.

You can get coilovers that ride really good. Just depends on how well they're valved to handle the spring rate. If it was me, I'd do a Koni Yellow/GC combo in whatever spring rates the Koni's can properly handle. Kind of hard to beat for the price. On the pricier side of things, race shocks like AST's or MCS's will ride good even with dumptruck stiff spring rates.

Finally got some whitewalls on the car! The tires are of real sh*t quality but it was the only thing I could order with a white stripe.

Here's another one of the toys. Also my grandfather's. 1989 Mustang GT. Has a 65mm throttle body, Hurst short throw shifter with 5th gear lockout, 3.55 gears, 275/60/15 rear tires, stiffer than stock clutch, and no mufflers. It screams and is arguably quicker than the Camaro (at least from a start).

A tip of my hat to you. The amount of effort you put in that car is amazing. I would never put that much effort in such a car. But I must admit it's impressive when I see one who is.

Got my wheel arch resprayed after some idiot hit it with there car door and left a nasty scratch and a little dent.

lH9gMjh.jpg

Now to get some wheel spacers for the rear wheels. Not sure whether to get 5mm or 8mm yet.

I'd go 5mm on standard wheels but if you're planning on swapping for something else I'd probably try and get a width and offset that didn't require them at all.

Not sure. Never run spacers on a car that didn't have a lug conversion.

So had my first day at my new job yesterday!

As a salesman at one of my favourite car companies! :) Which would be Volvo! :)

So for the moment this is my daily driver.... :)

11180055_390023204515195_72252888_n.jpg?

11173713_390023261181856_624010372_n.jpg

It's a 2012 Volvo S60 T6 AWD, with an automatic, that beeing the V6 Turbo engine in it! :) and to top it of it has Volvos gorgeous Poalstar Blue (also called Swedish Racing Green) and black leather seats :D I have had it for less then 24 hours, but I can say that itäs one hell of a nice car to drive, with 330hp and AWD

Even chicks like this Volvo :):):)

I got it up to 230km/h this morning on my way to work! man that was fun! :) But I'm thinking about chip tuning, maybe get 400hp out of it atleast and nice exhaust system... The noise could sound so much better... But I should be to greed to soon :)

I didn't buy it offcourse, it's just a work car, but after 2 years of work (depending on my sales record) at Volvo it is mine! plus that I don't need to pay as much in fuel.. Volvo is the one paying for my fuel now :) Also repairs are 30% cheaper for me :D

The cheapest fun one could get realy :)

I will deffenetly get you some more photos when I got time for the PC, I think you might understand that I wanna spend more time in this baby ;)

Chicks like that car? They don't have high standards in Sweden. All I know about women is that the best way to bore their pants on is to talk about cars.

I don't understanding why a Volvo dealer would give their staff 3 year old S60s. Or how Chris could identify it as a "chick magnet" after only 24 hours.

Then again, I reckon most of his vehicle claims are simply lies, family and friend vehicles of the odd interesting spot around his home that he pretends are his.

If I don't behave, ofcourse they wont let me keep it. all of the people working there got their "staff-car" I'm not sure how it's said in english.. I could choose between 3 cars, beeing this, an -14 V60 T5 or a Ford Focus what ever version it was. I'm not realy sure why they let me drive it tho.

My friend Danial that started att BMW got this M5 E39 from his work

64734_10202492263137722_8476976127287326

One of his friends got an Audi A5 after just a few days at Volkswagen

And then you should think about that girls are not as "car-horny" as men are... Girls realy just see the bright blue shade of blue.. this could just as well be a Maserati for the women.. If they know what a Maserati is that is.

Then I don't get why I would lie here? But then I will let you think what you want... I don't realy loose on it in anyway...

And FYI, I never lied about my cars, do with that as you want! :D

Please inform me which cars that you belive are "lies" :)

Edit: and yeah, after 24 hours... I can deffenetly claim that this is a "chickmagnet" :)

He at least took the effort of removing its number plates and adding the International Motors watermark.

yup :) The are custom plates, with the last owners last name.. I kinda felt that that is one thing shouldn't spread on the internet! :)

Good to see the metal looks reasonably clean with the glass and the seals out. Its a common problem area on cars of similar vintage.

I can't remember the last time I saw "chicks" and "Volvo" in the same sentence.

which is probably because no one has ever used them together.

I used to work at a Volvo dealership here, I grew to like the S60's but moreso the T5 versions over the T6. For some odd reason I found the T5's to be more smooth, torquey & responsive over the T6's. That said the Polestar tuned T6's were quite fun. I got to use a C70 has a demo (what we call staff cars here) for a bit in the summer which I really enjoyed as it was silver with a red interior and nice wheels which was an attention grabber. My biggest complaint about them though were the automatic transmissions in them in both auto/sport/manual mode seemed real sluggish and often times confused as to what it wanted to do. But congrats on the new job and new demo, I love that blue they come in!

Freshly polished so she shines like a Bmw should now, plus I plastidipped my roof rack to better match the car. Now just need to color match my Thule roof box and figure out what I need to do to adapt it to the OEM Bmw cross bars as they are thicker than every other roof rack out there & she'll be ready for summer camping adventures!

I drove an S60 T6 in Sweden a couple months ago. Went up north to a ski resort. Found it to be quite fun though it may not have been the best choice for my first time driving in such treacherous conditions.

Try not to crash or roll this one Chris, otherwise you may not have that job for much longer lol.
