Camaro and Chevelle, two of the most badass Muscle Cars

Reason for no 4 speed is cruising, or the guy who restored it may not have had one. Part of me really wants to put a Muncie M22 "Rockcrusher" in it. No time, or money, or space, or skill.

Interior's pretty nice, it's has 2 out of the 3 Sun blueline gauges.

Planning to get some work done on it! havn't felt for trying to fix it since I crashed!

 

My plans so far

 

-New Databox

-New spreader

-New fuel filter

-restore the head

-New fuelpump

 

Then the question is if I'm gonna keep it original or make it a "streetracer" and put some racing seats in it along with race steeringwheel and rollcage.. Maybe get some more power out of the engine.. There is 92hp in the engine now, might try to get atleast 120-130hp out of it!

Not mine per se (grandfather's), but here's the 68 Camaro that sits in my garage.

 

396, TH400 (originally a 4 speed, still has the clutch pedal in it)

You can see his 67 Chevelle in the garage, too. Also a 396 with a TH400.

 

I'm 15, so I don't have a car, but I'll post a pic when I do get one.

That f*cker is deadly sexy.

Shame he didn't keep it a 4 speed.

No feeling quite the same banging through gears in an old muscle car.

 

Speaking of Muncie's. I'm gonna need to keep an eye out here soon, Want to put one in my Camaro.

 

Oh, and is it an Original SS? Or just a clone?

I think it's an original SS. When he went to look at it, it was fairly rough, but the taillight panel was blacked out, which was exclusive to the SS396.

Lowered, because one of the shocks/springs broke and new ones cost too much. I guess it was much easier to lower the car than get new ones.

Very, Very good news, The Camaro finally runs again, Will be drivable once the steering column gets hooked up.

 

 

Also put the dash, instrument cluster and dash bezel in.

 

Looks more like a Camaro on the inside already.

New car coming this weekend

 

A blue Volvo 744 GLE -88... GLE beeing beeing full equipped, That beeing 740 not 760!

 

Blue interior

Sunroof

Electric windows all around

Electric side mirrors

The B230E engine (thats where the E come from in GLE) Producing 131 hp instead of 116 that my GL produces!

Using a 4 speed manual + overdrive

 

It also have more chrome then other 740:is , for exemple the grill beeing fully chromed! which I like alot.

 

 

 

 

 

Can't wait to get it home!

Thanks mate. Might not have it for long. Want to change it out for something different. Going back to a manual would be good. Looked at a few BMWs last month. I would love to get another w124 of somekind. Found out about a w126 500 SEC that is coming on the market locally soon. I have wanted one (560 ideally) for ages, it's really really tempting but the CLK would have to go first.

E39s. A black 528 wagon, and a 523 sedan. Kinda looking for a manual wagon these days, sort of a workhorse car. Have some home improvements to do this summer and the CLK doesnt even have a towbar.

 

w124 200s? I love w124s but wouldn't really want a 200. I did see one low mileage, superclean example about 6 weeks ago, really thought about it. Mechanic owned, low mileage, really really nice example, but I don't think I could live with that engine.

 

 

Its a really cool foggy night here, shame i'm a sh*t photographer...
