2000 Nissan Micra Celebration which I've owned for a year now. Not the best in looks or feel but is cheap as chips to run. I've got my eyes set on a mk6 Fiesta Zetec S as my next car.

Also not a fan of those Altezza-style tail lights. Love the mud splatters though.

@visionist: nice car, did you pick it up brand new or used? Also what is it with everyone getting a new car these past few months? It's like the male version of our periods syncing

I have thought of wrapping them just for the time being, but doing the trunk lights all red. Just haven't had the time to do so.

I'm planning on replacing them with these;

I think those are trying too hard to be like the newer BMW lights, I think you can't do much better than stock ones (specifically the ones on your silver 2-door).

The OEM looking LEDs are nice.

... did you pick it up brand new or used?

Used at four years old, just over 32000 miles on the clock. Definitely need to get it checked over by BMW, just in case.

I think I'll need a snotter. The roads around here are just too cruel, and I need a car for teaching English round & about. Thinking an Alfa 147, LPG if I can find it (not easy) or just a 1.6 petrol. Diesel rubs me the wrong way...

Now that we were so busy discussing tail lights, how about you help me decide which of these I should get for the Clio?

They're pretty close to the original ones, but with that LED strip in the top. How it looks now:

They found a great deal on a Skoda Favorit. Personally, I love the Panda much more than our Skodas.

Nice car.

I'm liking the second style of lights.

I did that when we sold our old Yugo. I wrote something on the back seat with a marker. Can't remember what.

Writing something on the back seat of a car your selling? Thats a bitchy move.

It was 29 degrees Celsius yesterday, and instead of going to uni after lunch, I decided to take Maria for a long drive, feat. the hills, the woods, the beach and the sunset.

Finished replacing the water pump and started filling it with antifreeze only to realize I blew a freeze plug at some point while it was waiting for us to finish. All the other plugs are fine and there are no signs of cracks so the plan is to get the plug back in tomorrow, and while we're at it we're going to put the transmission cooler back on, pull off the power steering pump (which should be very easy with it lifted like this, it's right at the bottom with only four bolts holding it), pull out my A/C blower motor, and pull the steering wheel so we can remove the instrument cluster and resolder it. Barring any more surprises we should have it running again tomorrow.

What engine do you have? My dad had an E30 which looked exactly like yours (same 'midnight blue' colour; it was a 325i I think) back around '86-'87 and he says it's still one of the best cars he's ever owned. Drove f*cking beautifully.

Got to say i'd prefer the standard rear light covers if offered the choice between them and the others posted in the thread otherwise it's a nice car man.

Still haven't got around to doing any mods like i originally intended, maybe fortunate i never as it's started to kick a cloud of smoke up around 3k rpm, i think the turbo might be on it's way out, can e46 330d's handle a bigger turbo then stock? Trying to turn a negative into a positive really lol

I think the turbos and manifolds are single units like on most VW diesels. A quick Google has found one company doing a stage 1 hybrid turbo for about £1400. Apparently good for 325bhp.

Same exact engine as my car.

M30B34 "Big six". The E30 had the M20 "small six". M30 has a ton more low end. Getting the pump off of that car should make it turn a lot easier with no PS. Still probably not the smartest thing when your power braking system is controlled by it.

We've already sourced a replacement for $90 so I won't be driving around too much longer without PS/PB. Hardest part about taking it off was just finding an angle to disconnect the hose. Good news is the transmission cooler is back on (with the proper hoses this time), I've got a new battery (would have been driving it tonight if not for that), and my coolant leak is finally solved once and for all. After replacing the PS pump there won't be anymore significant issues with its driveability.

By the way, I'm curious - what did you do with your style 4s?

Not mine per se (grandfather's), but here's the 68 Camaro that sits in my garage.

10847590_781541598590650_342252566310367

396, TH400 (originally a 4 speed, still has the clutch pedal in it)

You can see his 67 Chevelle in the garage, too. Also a 396 with a TH400.

I'm 15, so I don't have a car, but I'll post a pic when I do get one.

Why not 4 speed in it still? I would figure original 4 speed stuff would be worth buku money now compared to the autos.
