New car comming in 2 weeks, was supose to by the seats, which he wanted €100 for, but he wanted €250 for the whole car, which I think is worth it, it's either gonna be a spare parts car for my Volvo I got now, then store/sell the rest of the parts worth saving, then junk it.or I will restore it to, it is exactly the same modell as the one I got, -88 744 GL Blackline

Pretty similar! The owner just got it so he could get it cleaned up, but then realized that he had to many cars on the driveway.

 

 

My other 740 keeps getting atention, not much else to spend my spare time on untill it gets dark!

 

 

 

 

I did also break the key, the other half is stuck in the door lock with no spare key the car is just standing right now, but ordered a new key from Volvo yesterday, it cost me €70.

Keep in mind this is coming from someone whose dumped $3,300 over thelast 2 months on this thing with very little visual mods to show for it...

 

 

Had a busted fog light surround, so I got it fixed and painted then realized it doesn't look good in the bumper, so I decided it'd be best just to fix and repaint the whole thing. I also buttoned up the rest of my swap, fixed a few minor issues and now I can say it is back up to running & driving spec. For my first engine swap it couldn't have gone smoother, and I'm really impressed with myself & my Dad for getting it done this good. Next up is a new windshield, recharge the AC, get rear 12mm spacers, new summer tires for my 19's & then get my OPI done so I can drive it. Then maybe a few visual goodies... but we'll see.

Actually, these things have been changed-

-The car was resprayed (from Ice to Frost white)

-Whole interior (seats, carpet, dashboard, all windows, radio, steering wheel...)

-Front bumper (added a spoiler and fog lights to it)

-Rims

-Both blinkers

-Added parking sensors

-Backlights (changed and tinted)

-Gear shifter

-Exhaust

There's probably more stuff, but I can't list them

It's called a strut bar or strut brace (it attaches to the top of the 'strut towers' hence the name).

If you're doing the speed limit just driving, You may as well not have it on, but once you start taking corners at speed, you really start to feel its effect.

That's not entirely true. It's very much dependent on the rigidity of the chassis as to how much difference a strut brace will have. In most modern semi-monocoque vehicles with very high torsional rigidity they don't make a huge difference but in this instance the difference might be noticeable in spirited street driving.
