I've yet to pick up the 997 but my Dad told me not to take the Carrera. He said if I want a Porsche I should just go for something like a GTS or GT3. I also ran into the dealership owner in the first class lounge at the airport and he told me his friend is selling an LP-560 soon as he bought it for his mistress and his wife found out (lulz). He said to wait cuz it could be quite the steal as he needs to get rid of it fast.

After a sh*t ton of paperwork to clear, shes finally here. Its such a joy to drive around. Not sure if it was fear or excitement but it set my heart racing. It was probably a mix of both

Gathered them all up for one group shot. Selling the Duc and the Mini right now, then after the Evo is painted I'll be selling it late early/mid Fall. Prime time for selling AWD cars here, and prime time for buying RWD sports cars.

It's actually a 1098, I was going to buy a new 848 Evo but I wanted the extra power. With the new exhaust on it sounds incredible.

I saw the LP-560 and it was in an atrocious neon green colour. Needless to say I didn't go for it. Couldn't find anything better than a Carrera without having to pay more so I've decided to just get that and then fit a GT3 bodykit. I did get one with a lower mileage though, only done about 10k for the same price.

 

I've been looking for the GT3 body kit online but so far I've only found bits and pieces. I've no idea what parts I need, can anybody help point me in the right direction?

Might be worth having a look at some of the Oakley Designs GT3 goodies too.

 

Might be worth mentioning it is only known as the GT3 kit on narrow-body cars like the 4S as the GT3 itself is narrow body. On the 4WD models it is simply called the Aero kit (edited as I got it backwards-it's the RS that is vasef on the 4S shell)..

Indeed. Porsche usually is the best source to source this type of parts. There is a gorgeous 997.2 GTS all Porsche Exclusive‘d in Warsaw, couldn‘t believe you can go that far with the manufacturers catalogue.

Anyway I'm heading back to Taiwan for the weekend tomorrow morning to pick up the Porsche. I'm looking at changing the rims

 

This one, this, this, or this. Of course it is dependent on availability in Taiwan. Roughly how much will a set of Enkeis or BBSs set me back? I've also been looking at the aero kit but I want something wider. I've seen some 997s with something similar to the aero kit but with vents on the rear wheel arches. What are those called?
