Not much of a pic of my car but a update on it. I went to a scrap yard to get some parts for a friend and i saw a pretty nice set of Lenso Rs5 with tires they are 17" but were in a rough state so i bought them for 60 euro with 4 almost new tires and on my way back i got some primer, paint and clear coat and i fixed my rims up a bit.

Paint seems very glossy and light in colour but that is caused by bright light in my garage. In irl they are dark red and look way better. Ill post a pic of them on my car soon until then. What you think of them?

Yeah they are. They look well on my car so i got them, It would matter that they are a cheap brand alloys if i was Driving a Nissan Skyline GTR R-34 and got those rims since its only a humble Honda Civic it doesnt really matter.

There to show that the driver is still in his/her probationary period, you go from your L's to P's then to your fulls (witch you dont need to have anything displayed) in Australia

This. People in the US would kill for an S15 (whether it's common elsewhere or not). Those wheels look absolutely horrible.

 

 

Also, doesn't seem he did too well on his P's.

I agree 100% on it. Especially quite expensive jap cars. I got a heavy foot and had a few bumps and scratches but my cars were always cheap and easy to get parts for. My current car is the most expensive car i owned. Anyways i got a story too so there is this rich kid in the town i live. Well his dad is rich and the kid was only 16 at the time he didn't have any experience driving neither a driving licence or anything and he got a R34 Skyline. He always bragged about it of course the Skyline looked nice until the idiot crashed it in a head on collision with from what people told me was a BMW 320D E46 driven by a older gentlemen anyways the idiot is banned from driving cars with engine size of over 1.8 if he is caught driving something over 1.8 the car will be taken away from him permamently as he is considered a bad driver now. On the other hand do you think the car can be fixed by someone with the know how. If yes i might try to get the price down to around 650 euro and rebuild the front with GTR R34 front end and it would be MAAAAAD (Mighty car mods reference if someone didn't know)

There's no way that's an economical repair. I can see even from those crap images the frame rails are bent, plus you'd expect damage to the engine, subframe, radiator and all manner of other critical bits. The car was worth about £1200 on a good day before he binned it and would cost at least that to put right even from the shoddiest backstreet garage, and personally I'd never trust a car that had suffered structural damage. Plus it's a non turbo so about as desirable as herpes anyway.

It is a turbo, and costed him 12K (AUD) which is pretty cheap, those usually are about 17K here.

 

@stinomontana, in the Eastern States, P platers are not allowed Turbo vehicles, but they are here on the West.

Pretty sure the ad said non-turbo before the site went down. Still, that would probably be a Cat B write-off here due to structural damage. That means it wouldn't be legal to put the same chassis back on the road.

That's what I thought. I was told that with a probationary license you can't drive a turbocharged(high performance) vehicle, was I misinformed?

 

That car can be fixed, not cheaply though. Tell your buddy to scrap those wheels and put some Volk TE37s on it.
