I've bought a Citroen C2 1.4, picking it up on Thursday the 27th. Here are some of the rather low quality advert pictures:

Only downside is it's one of those automatics with flappy paddles (Citroen calls it SensoDrive). I would have preferred a fully manual gearbox, automatics have a bit of a pensioner image over here.

That C2 looks very nice and clean. Friend also has one, really cramped inside for me tough.

But... Mini?

It's been sold unfortunately, although it was a really fun car it just isn't practical in winter. I was fed up of the windows constantly steaming up and the heater being rubbish as well as the high maintenance costs. Might be buying a project one to do up sometime in the near future.

Yeah, it's really roomy in the front (At 6ft 2) but I wouldn't like to sit in the back, luckily I don't have to.

I was looking at January Cars & Coffee 2012(one we went to) and found out someone had taken a picture of our former car: biggrin.gif

Not much of a fan to be honest. All the newer Citroens seem rather generic in comparison to all the old hydro-pneumatic ones. Plus it's going from a classic Mini (the epitome of cool) to that ya know? dozingoff.gif

I don't think you can beat the coolness of a Classic Mini at my age really. The problem is we don't have the climate for them in the UK. It wouldn't be too bad running one daily where you are but over here the winter really gets to them with the salt. I can't weld and I don't have enough money to keep paying for welding to be done.

Obviously the Citroen is going to be boring in comparison but out of the car choices an 18 year old has over here it really isn't bad. I just wish our insurance companies were reasonable like in America where an 18 year old like Ronnyboy can afford to drive a huge RAM.

Anyway, here's a picture of the Mini in the new owners drive up north:

It isn't that big, but because it's only 2WD and with my history, I only pay $75 a month tounge.gif

My cousin just got a Volkswagen Jetta, sent me the craigslist ad pic:

Seeing that suburban when you first got it and now, is a BIG difference. Thing looks beefy dude. Nice.

I appreciate it man.

In a few weeks I should have the exterior converted to an Escalade. After that I'll be saving for paint, a proper lift, and an ARB bumper.

Will be an interesting combination for sure. Probably the only GMT400 Escalade ESV conversion on 37's and double beadlocks in the whole world.

Haha, it was actually my second choice but I'm glad I got it. I'm very used to people pulling out their phones and taking pictures behind me at red lights.

What was your first choice?

Quite lucky you guys get that option over there. Here in China and Taiwan we can only choose numbers.

That 300c is sweet. My neighbour has a black estate version with the same rims. That looks incredible.

Stick-on clock FTW! tounge.gif I used to have a stick-on clock, but the Summer heat killed it. Luckily the aftermarket stereo I had installed (Sirius Satellite Radio!) has a clock.

My first choice was for my 370z and it was PAVE-LOW.
