It must be nice to have a garage SO DAMN BIG that you can misplace a 7-series BMW and find it many months afterwards.

I'm just a little jealous, but in a good way. biggrin.gif

Maybe you can find some other little gem, who knows, maybe you have a little Toyota MR2 or something like that under some boxes and you didn't know tounge.gif

Well it's not surprising I don't know about it because other than my cars, I don't really ride in anything else. My dad likes to buy random cars here and I'm not in the country a whole lot so every time I come back I discover something new. I also don't venture into the parking lot very often either as my driver brings the car up to me.

In other news, one of the staff flipped a RAV4 on the highway. No one was hurt but car is pretty f*cked so we're probably gonna have to scrap it. We're planning on replacing it with several Toyota Crowns in the near future for the company fleet.

New truck I picked up, $2400 for no rust, bed liner, remote start, full hitch, 5.2L V8, auto stick. It's the sh*t, already hauled a trailer with new exhaust parts for a buddys car. It's a beast, so I'm going to straight pipe it tounge2.gif

To be honest, I would run H1 take offs in a heart beat.

Told you I'd never tuck them without lift. Now I've got lift, and I'll hopefully be picking up some 80% tread 37s on 12 bolt beadlocks tomorrow.

Just moved a tv and a mattress, all for the price of what ever I wanted at McDonalds. Got me a full meal tounge.gif

Who from? Few people on pirate sell them pretty cheap. 12 and 24 bolts are definitely the way to go for street driven truck (8 bolts can't be inflated over 30 psi). What tires? Normal MT's, BFG's, or MTR's? Guessing the regular directional goodyear MT's. They should last a long time (37's are made for up-armored humvees). Also, you'll need a 3-3 1/2" spacer to fit hummer wheels on a non-dually. Probably for the rear as well with the 9.5. Those wheels have around 8" of backspacing.

CL. $450 for the full set. Tires look great (Yes, standard Wrangler MTs), wheels look like brand new. You think I could get by moving my 2" spacers up front and just inverting the rear wheels? Essentially like a dually without the inner pair of wheels?

Not looking like I'm getting them tonight, hopefully the guy answers his phone tomorrow.

They're not reversible like a 5 ton combat/HEMMT wheels. They don't have flat centers. Rears might fit without. We put duals (similar offset to a hummer wheel) on a SRW 3/4 ton before but that had a FF 10.5 rear. SF 9.5's are narrower though.

No way they'd clear in the rear then. Even my factory steel wheels only left about an inch between the 265s and inner fender. I suppose two sets of front dually spacers from the junkyard would do the job though, correct?

Yeah, dually spacers should work. I didn't know if they'd work on a 3/4 ton front though. I guess they're all about the same.

Pick n Pull got rid of two duallys in the past few days, and the only one that remains uses a spacer that's built into the 2WD hub, and is rusted to f*ck.

Guess I'll need to order some.

test fit them and see how bad it is clearance wise. Rears not having to turn wouldn't be as bad I'd think. Though if you want even track widths I'd guess it'd be best to have all 4 corners.

I'll do some test fitting tomorrow but I really don't think I can get them on without the spacers. I don't mind the front wheels sticking out a bit further as long as the rears aren't tucked in 3-4" from the fender.

My Father owes me $177 right now so I'll just tell him to order them for me and we'll call it even. Saves me waiting until Monday to deposit money, then waiting five days to transfer it.

So what are you buying and how much of a spacer is it? Some sites are suggesting as much as 4" for the front and 3" for the back (to make dually width axles I guess).

Rears are close, but they fit fine with the 2" spacers I installed before the lift. Front is a no go, upper A arm rubs. 2" should be more than enough to fix that, but I don't know about how bad that would rub the frame. So I'm thinking of buying another set of 2" spacers for the front for the time being, or some 3" - 4" for the rear if I can find some at a decent price.

Centercaps look really ugly on that. get them off of there. A simple-looking military wheel should not have chrome on it. Also, do you know what, if any kind of runflat you have in there (magnesium and rubber are common but some people don't run them at all)? Search various classifieds for the spacers. New 3" are gonna run you $300 a set.

I just threw it on there to see how it would look, I didn't really like it either. Seller said they did have runflats but didn't specify what kind.

At that price, I think I'll just stay with the $89 2" spacers until I can fins some junk yard dually spacers. (or a full float positrac dually rear end)

One thing I noticed on the front is that the center bore on the wheels is larger than my hubs. I know the hub centric Dodges have a larger bore, I'm assuming that's what these fit on?

Edit: Found some a little cheaper.

I don't think H1's/Humvees have hubcentric hubs. At least ones with CTIS. The CTIS hub is pretty damn big apparently. I know hummer wheels will fit over dodge, ford, and chevy hubs.

I'd just make sure you have the right lug nuts.

Also, if you're dead set on using some sort of cap, the old dog dish hubcaps should work on them as they have the same basic hubcap profile as a steelie.

And I always thought they were hubcentric... Wish I had one in the driveway I could just go look at. lol

I'm just going to make sure I get ones with the same thread. That way I can use the included lug nuts to install them, then use my current lug nuts for the wheels.

Not set on caps. I like the look of the plain military wheels, but like I said I just threw the cap on to see how it would look and didn't like it.

I'd get ones 9/16" threads. I'd say that's more or less what those wheels are made for. Lug nuts shouldn't be too hard to find. wimpy 1/2" light duty 3/4 threads are...wimpy.

Regardless of what I put on the spacer, the entire thing is only going to be as strong as the weakest link. If I'm not upgrading the existing studs, then putting stronger than stock ones on the spacers just means that in the event that something breaks, it's going to be the studs on the axles instead of the easily replaceable spacers. Obviously the ideal solution would be a 1 ton axle with thicker studs, but I'll save that for a later date.

Trying to balance building it up right now without spending more money on currently unnecessary upgrades when that money could be put to sooner attaining something better.

I was talking more for purposes of using hummer lug nuts (which are probably 9/16"). If there's even any difference. Whatever best centers the wheel since you can't rely on hubs to center it.

Finally able to post a picture of my VK Commodore. Well it still technically is my father's but upon being old enough to legally drive a V8, this is all mine. It's been sitting unregistered for awhile, but I'm going to clean it up real soon.
