By the way, how come you have a modern 03-reg number plate? I thought they started the newer look Colts by then.

I believe it was late 03 when the (Hideous imo) new CZ series Colts were launched, although i've even seen some CJ cars on an 04 plate. I sometimes call my car CJ after San Andreas :-p

 

*EDIT* Here's an updated look at my driving zone. The green needle hubs were fantastically tedious.

I think i've seen other pictures of your car online do you have a REALLY deep sunstrip? One that literally covers almost half the windscreen? lol mine is annoying as I have to look out the side window for traffic lights when stopped near them, not to mention the phukking MOT tw*ts make me remove it every time.

This one aint bad Garfield but ricers in my town are worst i was driving my car (a 99 Opel Vectra Hatchback) yesterday and one of them tried to do a fly by but he failed as he crashed into a pole 500 meter later haha.And it was the most common car in Ireland which is a Toyota Corolla.

There are a few indicators that you're talking rubbish.

1) "Ricer" is very American slang. Only having been to the RIO once, I can't say I've really got enough experience to determine whether it's commonly used. But in the rest of the UK, it isn't, so I'm going to go on the assumption that the same is true in the ROI. Sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

2) A "flyby" at 40kph? Firstly, what the hell is a fly-by? Are you referring to an overtake? Because it's called an overtake. Secondly, Corollas aren't generally bought by "ricers". They're usually owned by the elderly. Finally, a quick and by no means scientific google suggets that the "most common" car in Ireland is the Ford Focus.

3) You punctuate and spell like an infant.

It's an NA 1.8 in chaste white. I would love a mariner blue one. I've got a new hood, new coilovers, and some BBSs off an E30 BMW to put on before it goes back on the road. Miss it a lot but the weather hasn't been good for productivity.

 

I tend to keep cars for about 3 to 5 months but I just can't sell the MX5 so it looks like it'll be the first car I've kept long enough to MOT for years.

Corolla's are very common in Kerry. Especially 1994-1999 models. And Civic's 1995-1999 models.

I said that i am going to put a bodykit not like a big ass gay bodykit but just a subtle tlight bodytki. it might look stock but will have more sporty look to it like one on the picture. Yeah, on the mx5 forums a lot seem to sell up then buy another within a few months! Sounds like you have some

 

My plans are to go a bit "scene" with it. Garage Vary front lip, Rota Zero Plus wheels (15x8 ET10) and some Meister-R coilovers. First it's getting a full respray and new hood though and will get a fast road alignment when the coilovers are fitted.

 

Might think about a supercharger over the enxt winter, but with a drink driving ban insurance might have me over with no lube with that one!

You never know, a lot of guys get big discounts when they supercharge it. If not just insure it under the bird's name and get yourself a policy that lets you drive any car on some crappy wee hatchback.
