XiresFusion
The PS2 Version got a 9.9 The XBOX Version got a 9.7 But the PC Version only got a 9.0, but everybody seems to think it was the best one.
Skyline_man
Because of all these bugs & glitches, if there were not in the game, it could have got 10/
TheHeggy
Probably because there's some graphic and control issues for some systems. For the people the game does work for (like me!) it runs beautifully and is worth at least a 9.
Jordan
They probably scored each version on a scale for that particular system. The graphics and keyboard controls brought the score down on the PC version, though. Still, the PC version looks stunning though
golden80
Probably because it's competing against a higher level of games on the PC. Examples being Doom 3, Half Life 2, and Far Cry. I'd much rather play San Andreas than any of those, but that's what I suspect is one of the reasons for it having a lower score.
Neo-K 182
PC Gamer gave San Andreas a 94% higher than both GTA3 and Vice City if i remember correctly.
algenon_iii
Well its a combination of things, but the killer has to be the retarded mouse control when standing still - did R* read the Tombraider 3 - how to implement character controls book or something? Controls that suck can potentially ruin even the best of games.
