Anyway sip what settings you running with that ie. in regards to what distance with the mod thing? 10x

yeah, 10x draw, 1600x1200x32, maximum detail, and AA. still pullin 20 fps with the whole map in veiw

as for the realizm. are you saying you shouldnt be able to see a mountain the size of mount chilliad from the entire map? in real life, you can see the rocky mountains from calgary almost which is almost 120km away. i think it makes it more realistic.

Yeah good point, but without the fog it tends to look, well "Un-realistic" 4x is about all I need. And, you don't have all the braging rights here, i'm running it on high now with 4x aa (Somehow it f*cks over with 8x!!), 16xaf on the highest res, and it doesn't go below 30fps. I'm using the 4x mod

i still have 8x AA and 16x AF forced from play Ford Racing 3(absolutley awesome game) i am tempted to see what it can pull with these settings. i got 20 bucks on 15 FPS. but we will see

that is a nice city:

 

so as you can see, it pulls some pretty decent framerates all maxxed out. the only things that slow it down are crowds at high speeds and clouds.

Sip, you don't have all the bragging rights... Oh sip, 20-30fps on 8x. But I have to change to resultion and sh*t to get 8x working and stuff, I wont go inot details But ir works on 1680x1050 still

 

1680x1050x32, 8Sx aa, 16x af, Mip mapping, 4x draw distance (10x is teh ugleh)
