My specs are:

 

Leadtek 6800GT 256mb/256bit/AGP

AMD 3200+

512x2 Corsair Value RAM

80x2 [email protected]

 

Playing game at [email protected], then resizing in Photoshop to 800x600 with "Bicubic smoother" resampling.

 

In-game, EVERY setting (except resolution) maxed out, no draw distance mod installed.

In nVidia CP, 8xS AA, 16xAF, Very High Image Quality, VSYNC ON

Well...

CPU AMD 2600 or better

RAM 1 gb

Videocard: I am using 6800GT 256bit/256mb, but I think 6600GT (which is 2 times cheaper and 2 times slower) will do the same, but with less frame rates at higher resolution. I don't know about ATI cards though.

Hard drive: 7200rpm, 8mb cache

 

Install LATEST drivers/DirectX

 

 

Next, SETTINGS:

1. Max out all settings in game in "options>display>advanced"

2. Go to your driver CPanel (right click on desktop>properties>settings>advanced>tab that has name of the card on it)

3. Max out all settings there:

Anti Aliasing: 8xS (4x if no 8xS available)

Anisotropic Filtering: 16x

Image Quality: High/Very High

 

 

P.S. I don't know really, about lower (older/cheaper) videocards. Got cash? Buy 6800GT 256mb/256bit. AGP or PCI-E - does not matter for this purpose.
