i had an little powerbreak after 2 sec when is saved the game and after i want to load agian i get a save game corrupted message. anybody can help?

My problem:

 

I've got a lot of the san fierro missions finished. ('till the one which leads you to the next city or at least over the big red bridge) So i wanted to save and it worked but not without some weird error messages. After some minutes it chrashed as usual, nothing serrious except the fact that the savegames have strange names like E X O 0002323 [NULL] 232325 and when i try to continue my game by loading one of this savegames it starts the whole thing again form the beginning!

 

any solutions? or do i have to do all the f...... missions again??

Thanks for all the help to everyone that has posted a possible solution to the various problems. However, whislt I've finally got the game working (on minum display settings), I still cannot get the save game to work, it won't even recognise the the folder in My Documents

 

So that's it, after 10 hours I've has enough , I've been through a huge amount of solutions on various boards. I'm going back to the BF2 demo for a few of days until the final version is released. I'll check things out again in a few weeks or so to see if anything has changed. Until then, best of luck to everyone in trying to solve their problems.

 

My next problem, trying to get a refund on a game I've already opened!! Still, I have ways of persuading people

So i don't know why but .... this fix helped me only for the step that i can now put other save games in the right directory and it don't crashes at the start, and now it comes....... my damn save game files are corrupted.

 

 

It doesn't matter what the hell i do, take other save games from other player, make new save games..... it always shows up that the damn files are corrupted.

 

What can i do homies to load my save games again ?

You know it so good as me that this situation sucks, because i can't play now. And

i payed 45 € for it.

 

I thought that Rockstar Games really RULEZ

but maybe i have think about it again because of this "ERROR"

 

And the crazy thing on this point is i didn't have this problems in GTA 3 or in Vice City before.

I know I said I had given up on this but, after a nights sleep I'd give it one more go. So, #I turned on my PC, started GTA:SA to remind myself what was happening again (save games not being found) and, for absolutely no apparent reason everything is now working fine

 

I've restarted the game a number of times, rebooted my system and it's still working. If I ever find out why, I'll let you know.

 

Now, whilst the going is good, do I see if I can get the high res graphics to work as well????

I have restarted my PC several times and gta too..... but its still the same problem with the save games.

 

 

 

I want to save at the end of the first mission, then load the new save game and its also corrupted. THAT SUCKS

 

 

I have found a solution for my problem. Its a fixed .exe named

 

Grand.Theft.Auto.San.Andreas.Foreign.Languages.Fix-HOODLUM.ShadowCast.rar

 

Of course the .exe is in the .rar

 

I have searched in emule, in the hope that something usefull there will be and i found the answer/solution of my problem in emule. Maybe that will help some of you too. Now i can load my save games without any problem.

This may be of no help, but thinking ahead ...

 

If you did edit the EXE file in this manner, it is likely that when the official patch is released, the patch program will tell you that the EXE is invalid. So I sincerely hope you saved a copy of that EXE. This is because the patch program (in the past, anyway, so I can expect now too) checks the checksum of the EXE to make sure it's both valid and unaltered. Editing with the hex editor like this has likely altered the checksum of the EXE. (If anyone has done this and has a little bit of spare time, I'd be interested in knowing if my thoughts on both the altered checksum, and Rockstar's patch program, are correct.)

 

This also means that if this bug isn't reported to Rockstar (as well as the apparent, albeit rudimentary fix), a solution to this problem may not make it into the patch.

 

So, my suggestion is to everyone who's having this problem, is to send a bug report - as well as this fix - to the good folks at Rockstar. If they don't respond, that's fine, but the more people they know about that has this problem, the more likely they'll look into a fix for it.

Well I've followed this exactly and my game is still corrupted, theres no way in hell I'm starting over this is crap, any suggestions?

I'm on the verge of shooting someone, all my time and work down the toilet in one clean sweep, and this isnt fixing it

 

Other save files work like if i start over and save, I can load it perfectly fine, its only mine, the one that actually matters that still says corrupted, i've made the new save directory successfully, but my file is still corrupted... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

After following the information that was submitted by gta_maclib, I have created an application that simplifies part of the process, ie Registry and Folders. All you have to now do is push a button and all will be created.

Ive done all the steps from the first post and every thing worked with the saved games

 

before you use hex dont patch you gtasa.exe or run the reg.

when you hit find there should be 2 boxes below find what. the one to the left is a square and to the right a rectangle. click on the rectangle and type personal.

 

I need help though. my computer restarts every time with in 2 min in the game. a blue screen pops up and says a bunch of stuff and before i can read it my computer is restarting. I cant play the game for more than 2 min. . If any body knows how to solve this problem ill be forever greatfull.

i did everything that was said in first post and i still get the same thing as i got before, goes to black screen then desktop as it switches to 1024x768 then blank again then back to my default desktop res. so somethin else is still wrong and i don't code so can't edit the exe any way else.

As I understand this fix isnt for corupted savegames, but for people who have a . (dot) in their username for windows. This issue is fixed in 1.01 patch. So there is no need for manually doing this. Just download 1.01 patch from here: NoMoreHotCoffee

 

And choose the right one for you. Just to remind you that not all mods work on 1.01. Just a reminder. Good luck

My San Andreas freezes when im playing, and i cant even go back to the desktop or open the task manager.

 

I installed SA, then remplaced gta_sa with the hoodlum's first no-cd crack

4. Copy the crack from HOODLUM dir on DVD to the game dir

i updated my nvidia geforce mx 440 and my sound card drivers, and directX 9.0 c ........but still keeps freezing

 

i found a "crash fix" patch at gamecopyworld.com, though it doesnt CRASH back to windows, display just FREEZES...

i installed it, but it keeps freezing

 

Then i found the GTA SA 1.01 PATCH....kay.. i install it, but now i need a no-cd crack for the 1.01 version...

 

so? any ideaS? why the hell does it freeze? i think cus of the crappy cracks
