radioman Posted August 12, 2008 Share Posted August 12, 2008 ok so i have a realy big problem and was wondering whether u could help me when i install gta it doesnt install the gta san andreas user files and there fore i cant save my game could some one plz help me I had the same thing happen when I first installed the game on my new laptop, but once I saved the game for the first time, the User Files Folder was created then. So try saving the game(Preferably in slot 1), and the folder should be created in "My Documents"-if on XP/"Documents"-if on Vista. Otherwise, as gtamodder has said before, if your Windows User Account name has a (.)period in it, then that could cause problems with saving the game. The latter is very recommended on Vista. Just do a right click on your main hard drive where SA is installed in My Computer, uncheck "Index this drive for faster searching" and do this with all subfolders.
