Yeah propper night vision works by amplifying light and thermal goggles still works as night vision (check mgs, socom etc ) but shows heat.

Also me and maj OWNED tonight. Propper teamwork. We sandwiched two dudes taking a flag totally f*cked them up and also propper teamwork, he threw a claymore off this roof and I saw a guy and threw a flashbang so he sh*t himself and ran right into the claymore. Total own.

Im a bit of a noob on computers, but where can i check where it says my GFX card/RAM, cos my bro built the computer from buying parts and Im pretty sure it should work right.

Right click mycomputer and then properties that will show RAM and processor.

 

Right click your desktop click properties, settings, advanced and adapter, it may show up there.

I just got this game. I installed it and now when i hit BF2.exe the BF2 screen comes up, then goes black, then exits. And im left with my desktop. Any ideas? I've googled it but no luck.

Same thing happened to me,you need a new graphics card.

I have the GeForce FX 5600, and it's working fine when everything is on LOW. ( ) Looks like we have pretty similar computers, Kanney, the cpu is also the same, a p4 2.8.

 

You have more RAM, though. I only have 512mb, wich makes it pretty laggy at times.

 

I'm getting a new one before the end of the year.

Jesus christ daz its only a game...but i know how annoying it is when you finish the round with one ticket to go. And the music problem..i've had that ever since i bought it. Highly annoying.

I was happy, then I was pissed, then I was slowly happy again.

 

I was happy; I started playing earlier Monday afternoon, my only objective was to get a few of the easy Basic badages (Aviator, Air Defense, Transport, Armor, Medic & Support Combat). As it turns out within 1 hour the game said I got; Basic Commander, Support Combat, Aviator, Air Defense, Transport. So yes I was happy.

 

I was pissed; About an hour or so later I check BF2S.com for my stats. None of those awards showed. I get into the game and nothing. So naturally I was pissed. Yes I was playing on a ranked server.

 

I was slowly happy again; Over a few hours I got back some of those awards: Support Combat, Aviator, Air Defense, Transport, Armor, plus a rank increase to Corporal and ofcourse with that an unlock.

 

I know for some of y'all getting all of that is pretty easy, however I suck and just get luckly from time to time. I got my first knife kill out of pure luck.

 

I'll be damn happy if I can get my Basic Knife Combat badge, after that I won't care much.

I figure if I can get to be the Commander again, I'll go sniper to makea cheap way to get my Basic Sniper Combat badge unless I can get on top of that crane on that one map...sorry I forget the name, it's got a TV station flag and the crane is at the consruction site flag.

 

I was so damn close to getting my Basic Medic Combat badge, 1 kill away when the round ended. That damn single/burst M16 is wack, so for my unlock I picked the L85A1 which should make it a bit easier for me to get the badge.

 

 

I made sort of a check list sheet so at a quick and easy glance (more or less) I can look to see what I need to get each award; badges, medals, ribbons and ranks both BF2 and SF.

There is one thing i don't get. When i got promoted to Sergeant i got the choice of chosing a new unlockable, and i originally chose the Scar-L, yet for some reason it didn't show up.

 

Why is that?

The Special Forces unlocks are NOT avalible in Special Forces, only in regular BF2.

 

Think that might be your problem.

 

I'm guessing if you start up regular BF2, and press the "change weapon" button on the Spec Ops kit twice, your Scar-L will be there.

I haven't started BF2 normally yet, only SF. That might be the main reason.

When you quoted my post you should see the code I used.

All you have to do it copy&paste the line I did for my name starting the it's TR to it's /TR Then paste the one after the /TR

 

But if that's still confusing then check out the GTAForums Table Code Generator It'll help to take out some of the harder work.
