I've seen each one of those probably a million times as well as the ones on gamespy, gamespot, ign, etc. I was thinking more of new ingame demo footage that can really give me an idea of what to expect. Granted I have to wait and these movies would tide me over until I can play myself.

EA Bans all Owners of modded servers from playing.

 

If you remove the time limit, or unlock all weapons, And EA see's, The admin will be giving a Ban, On BF2.

 

Do Not use the "Hack" for time limit and Global unlock, As said further on up this page.

Yeah, Forums been playing up lately.

 

Back on topic. I've had the demo for a week and a half. And I still haven't got bored of it. Can't wait till Thursday (hopefully Game release it a day earler). Shame there's only 32 map versions in Single Player

This connection problem is becoming a pain in the ass. Even when I'm hosting a singleplayer "server" I get problems in between round changes.

 

I had the game preordered, various people over the internets say they've gotten the game from EBgames.com or from their local store, yet mine "won't have them until tommorow [read: has gotten them but won't sell them yet]". Last time I preorder anything.

Suffice to say but I think the games bad. Cool ass concept, I liked Battlefield:Vietnam, never played BF1942 but I played this demo and the game is not very appealing to me.

 

1) Recoil- Maybe it's because I've been playing Counter-Strike for a veeery long time, but the games shooting seems very non-recoilish and shooting is not very fun.

 

2) Jumping, ack for god's sake you can jump 5 feet in the air with over 100 lbs on your back, I don't like this because it makes the game feel very arcadey.

 

3) Movement- Sprinting is a neat feature but I think it's not very useful as it runs out very quickly and I render it useless.

 

For anyone finding this offensive kiss my arse because it's an opinionated post, but I'm stating problems that I saw when playing the demo.

 

I had stability issues, like freezing, crashing etc.....

 

Maybe the actual Retail version may be better but until then I think this game kind of sucks.

About the sprinting; you can actually sprint a lot farther than you can in most games.

Take COD for example.

The sprint runs out way quicker in that game than this one.

Sprint also varies with the classes. Engineers and Anti-tank for example of a short sprint, specops and medics have a much longer one.

Kinda of yes, but for such a big game I think maybe slower paced should make it more funner. I've played CoD and I think that game is perfect to such a point that maybe BF2 could somehow play or compare to it. I remember in BF: Vietnam I thought moving felt way different.

 

But don't get me wrong here, I don't expect the game to be as slow as Ghost Recon but I think there should be a sense of realism involved in such a game based on modern warfare that I think they could have made some changes.

Yeah, sprinting pisses me off, especially when trying to do the 'C4 on the tank' trick but running out of breath while running away only to get cut into tiny small peices by the mounted gun.

 

I wish there was more to the bots as well. There doesn't seem to be a frontline. Just random battles here, there and everywhere. But I love this game none the same.

From what I've seen. DICE has gone for Fun over Realism to a certain extent. I think they've got the balance perfect.

People would complain if they couldnt jump

And like you said... you got 100lbs of equipment, of course u can sprint far!

 

N i havnt noticed any recoil difference... Apart from the shotgun...Its like a sniper rifle...
