Battlefield 2 looks like a very good quailty game, Judging from screen shots and Videos

 

Textures looks amazing, Actions looks well, Weapons and vechiles look awsome

 

Youll notice too that Ragdolls are involved

Which makes a perfectly good wargame, Realistic, Blowing some on off a roof, or shooting someone while running will simulate the death it should, unlike regular war games when u shoot someone while running, they just stop n drop

 

Of course with the high quailty graphics and actions, a good grahpics card is needed, aswell as RAM

 

The Ragdoll deaths seem to be different than Counterstike, The limbs can only bend in certain ways, so you dont get the stupid looking body lying in the battlefield

 

Another great feature is that As like DeltaForce series, The more kills/Flag captures you make, The higher your rank will become From Private to General on the field. Thus enabling you to take command of your team and direct squads the higher rank you are.

Having it done in modern times decently will be great. Cheers for the specs also, I was hoping I wasn't going to have to upgrade. Made it by far, always a good thing.

I think BFV:POE will be closer to what BF2 will be like to a point.

 

I've already given a local GameStop store my $5 to reserve my copy and got my free headset (not much of a headset) when I did.

Absolutely. DC is my favorite mod evar. In fact, I believe in their news section it says the DC developers got the opportunity to work with Digital Illusions for the BF 2 engine. They deserve it, DC is a great piece of work.

 

BF2 looks great also. I'm buying extra RAM just for the occasion.

I'd imagine they aren't losing touch with their offline customers, so you can probably expect offline play. I'll check tomorrow though, I'm tired.

 

Engineers can lay mines, fix vehicles and probably some new tasks like painting targets with a laser, unless that is for another player class.

DC still rocks, i love it, Never gets old

BF:V PoE i didnt like as much cause it just sucks the fun out of BF2, Well, The feel of the new vechiles etc. Cause stuff like the JSF jet was in PoE, And thats in BF2, So you dont really feel new to it...

 

The engineer is equiped with, Mines, Mortar, Spanner (Or another tool for fixing damage to Vechiles with) A standard weapon and knife! Also he clears mines away for tanks to have a safe path.

Nah, this game looks awesome. I enjoyed both the last ones greatly although I never really got into DC that bad. Just the graphics and the vehicles and soldiers etc. just didnt look right...but this looks awesome

 

Does anyone know if theres still going to be a commander mode? is there any screenshots of the commander mode?

I just got an email from Xfire saying that the BF2 demo will be available soon.

This game will totally kick ass. I will be playing it as a side game as I'm in the CAL season for Source but this will keep me occupied along with the Xbox release of SA. (no pc because I don't like controls) The features sound pretty neat, as you have to gain ranks in order to unlock new weapons and sh*t. I can't wait another 2 more weeks.
