What should i do?

Recommended Posts

So, a while back, way way back in october, i bought San Andreas for Ps2. Well, now that it's coming out for xbox ( i own both consoles), i would like to ask you opinion on this: Should i buy the xbox version> Because i really like the dea of custom soundtracks and i have a friend who would buy my Ps2 version from me for $55 ($15 lower than the retail price of the xbox version., i live in canada) So i would like to know if it would be worth those extra 15 canadian dollars to buy the xbox version. AAlso, will the controls be customizable on xbox cause i've seen them and i think i'd want to change em'. Thank you for you opinions.

Well, the graphical experience combined with replays and custom soundtracks make it a definite buy for me, but not on the Xbox...on the PC. Mods are the best part of the PC versions of the GTA games.

Yes, it is worth it to get the Xbox/PC version even if you already played the PS2 version.

Do you have a powerful PC with a recently-developed (2-3 years) 3D accelerator?

My opinion is... you should definitely get the xbox version because even if it costs 100000000000000000000000000000000 pounds more or whatever, you will still want it trust me i played the demo of 3 trial missions. if your wondering how i got it, it was on ebayon . it was exclusive. so trust me get it!! colgate.gifsigh.gif

I you liked the PlayStation 2 version of the game, you would definitely love it. Get it for the computer though, because computers own all consoles, and you would be able to play the game without any boredom for a long time because there are loads of capabilities for the modifying community and there will be loads of modifications available for the game, including online multiplayer. So, get it for the computer version, it would be definitely worth the quid.

First off, thank you all for your opinions. i am seriously considering buying it for xbox. To answer some of your questions, yes i would definatly be willing to play through the game again, i mean i've already played through it 3 times on ps2 simply because i kept saving over my file accidentally. Also, i don't remember where i found out about the buttons, but it was one of ther topics on this site, i just don't rmember which one. And to all of you who say i should buy the pc version, i say this:i would but both of my pc's suck ass. They freeze up if your on them for more than lie 5 minutes and can barely support games like the sims. Pkus there both 6+ years old. I dunno, i think i'll buy it for xbox, cause the replays and the custom soundtracks sound sweet (can't wait to hear the new system of a down cd playing while i do some drive by's and ump some ramps). I'm just not sure if i'd like the controls. I'll rent it first, and if the controls are in fact customizable like they've been rumoured to be, i'll buy it. Again, thank you all for your thoughts and opinions, and if anyone has anything else to say, i'd love to hear it. By the way sorry for the really long post.

*sniff *sniff I can definatly smell SH*TE

R* has never made any demos for any of the GTA games using the 3D engine, and you are on here in one of the biggest fansites trying to say they have, you might as well paint FOOL across your forehead it would be simpler.

anyway back on topic

Get it for PC, even if it does not run at its full potential now you may upgrade in the future, then u got your mods and easy to capture screenshots, you got completly customisable controls and im missing something, oh yea the graphics.

then again im open minded and the Xbox is just simpler like you say you can rent it which is rare to do with a PC game, it so simple plug it in shove in the disc and play no, having to reinstall it all the time when you wipe the computer scince you dont do that with Xbox of course lol you still get the extras like better than PS2 graphics, customisable controls, replays and lets not forget mp3s. Also if you have a LARGE tv to play it on then YEA cool.gifcool.gif
