Jordan Posted May 30, 2005 Author Share Posted May 30, 2005 Hi, Jordan. Here are my questions: 1. Is the weather improved? For example, more realistic rain, skid marks? 2. Do the vehicles in the game drive like crazy in the highways? For example, Julius Thruway North, it is crazy there. You cannot drive into it safely without getting thrown to about two kilometres. 3. Is the AI changed in the Xbox version? 1. From what I saw, it's the same. However, the PC and Xbox versions will obviously look better in this aspect. I thought the rain effects in the PS2 version of San Andreas were awesome, especially in the countryside. 2. Pretty sure they wouldn't change something like this. 3. Nope. In the new IGN preview had a screenshot with a tutorial box that read "Whilst running, lock on to a target by pulling R then press Y." I was hoping that R is shoot instead of target. Well, I remember that right trigger on the Xbox controller (I guess that would be R) is to pedal on the bike. On PS2 the textures on his body looked really bad at certain time, and they textures made his mucsles look really funky. not P.Funk funky but garbage funky... I ran up near a wall and turned the camera around so I could see his face. It wasn't an amazing improvement, but I am guessing that we can expect to see better things from the PC version anyway. Ne of that better for any console or system? And is there a easier element of driving like slower acceleration or better AI driving. Cause i dont see the point of car customization if its gonna be totalled about 10 seconds after its pulled out by crashing into a Wall, a Car, a Lightpole, Water, and stupid AI that crash right into u for no apparent reason. ...
