How do I increase my Criminal ranking?

 

Ive tryed killing loads of people but that doesnt seem to change anything

Completing missions, particularly.

 

Basically the stuff you need for 100%, then some extra things.

You can increase your Criminal Ranking by killing people, blowing up cars, completing missions and getting wanted levels. You only recieve the points is if you save your game or go to a pay-and-spray. Hope this helps.

So if you get busted or wasted it doesn't count? I always rampaged till the death now you tell me it didn't count? No worries, at least I know now.

Nope. It only counts when you save your game or go to a pay-and-spray.
