So I guess Rahman/Klitschko is next??

God I hate Klitschko. Hate Rahman too but I hope he knocks Vitali the f*ck out. Then Sir Toney can make Rahman look like an amateur and steal the strap.

I think the Klitschko brothers are horrible overrated. It's just everytime I watch them, it's either they get knocked out, or get beaten the hell up in a decesion at the end. But, if it's not PPV, I will watch it.

Can ya believe they made Klitschko-Rahman a PPV? Bad enough Rahman-Barrett was a PPV but the Klitschko fight was orignally supposed to be on normal HBO..anyway it will be a repeat of Klitschko-Williams, you can say that Rahman might have a punchers chance but he needs more then one punch to knock Vitali down..sad but true.

I want to see the Klitschko brothers fight, that is a fight I would pay for to watch. I mean, I don't understand why the won't, they both brag they are the champions, why not proove who is the better one? It would tell us a lot.

Fighting own blood is hard, as much as I would like to see them fight also, I doubt I would fight my brother (if i had one) with such high stakes on the line, even if I did or would..I better be getting paid a hell of a lot money wink.gif The heavyweight division is getting better but there still needs to be a 'champion' in it and I really don't think either Klitschko will emerge as it..and when I say that I mean in long terms. James Toney is easily the most skilled heavyweight but he will probably retire within the next 5 years and then my other favorite Lamon Brewster, who has tremendous heart and chin, as much as I like him I don't see him beating either Klitschko (maybe Wlad) or Toney..eh it's still pretty blurry in that division.

Anyway, pretty interesting thing going on with James Toney and John Ruiz..they both keep writing open letters to each other about the whole steroid thing a couple of months ago.

Oscar is aiming to get a fight with Mayorga, I think that'd be a rather interesting fight but really, I don't think Oscar is in much shape and will probably get knocked the hell out.

Oscar won't beat Mayorga. I know Mayorga has many flaws, but Oscar is just not good enough anymore. Mid round KO for Mayorga if they fight.

And I agree with Ice, Brewster=pimp (Ice remembers why) wink.gif

Man Ruiz is such a piece of crap for writing those letters.

I dont care how big of a mistake it was for Toney to take a steroid that enhances injury recovery time, but that loser Ruiz actually thinks he would have won the fight. Not f*cking likely.

Get this menace, Ruiz just sued Toney for 10 million american dollars for taking steroids and ruining Ruiz's 'image' (lmfao that made me laugh). I think that was just...uhh..Ruiz is a bitch, I will just go with that. Speaking of Toney, he is scheduled to fight Rob Calloway, stay busy fight and nothing else, it's good to see Toney fight frequently though..can't say that about much of the other...'contenders'.

Klitschko/Rahman has been called off due to Klitschko tearing his 'meniscus'..the doctor cleared him to fight after he got injured but he didn't like the way the knee brace 'felt' on his knee so he pulled out, quite frankly..this is pathetic..Rahman has been waiting for what? A f*cking year..a year of training to fight Klitschko but it keeps getting postponed.4 times is just way too much, anyway I think WBC should strip Klitschko, make Rahman fight the #2 contender for the WBC title and then have Klitschko be the 'mandatory' for the newly crowned champion. It's probably the most fair way that will help the heavyweight division out alot.

Vitali Klitschko, never come back.

Now that we are rid of that century at a time fighter, hopefully we can get the division rolling.

Surely its still a weak division but James Toney now has nearly no tough contests in unifying those belt. He was underdog against Vitali that Frankenstein but James has the skill even with a fat belly to make waste of the other 'champions'.

Lets get it on.

Toney-Calloway is off, it is said that Toney will be trying to get a fight with newly crowned champ Hasim Rahman for the WBC Belt....good riddens Vitali Klitschko.

Amen to that. Now here's to hoping he actually gets the fight.

For anyone that saw Rahman/Ruiz, you know that Rahman is in trouble unless he can land the money punch on James.

JT is too slick for Rahman, Rahman had his one punch wonder with Lewis but in all honestly, who else has he one punch KO'ed? I've seen the knockout over and over and I don't see that happening against Toney, Toney by an extremely wide UD and Toney goes on beating Byrd to unify the WBC and IBF titles, now Toney vs Brewster would be very entertaining.

Wow, really inactive in here. Anyway, did anyone else see the Mayweather-Sharmba Mitchell fight? Floyd just dominated, and he got a KO in one of the middle rounds (I forget which one) on a nice body shot. My question for you all is: who do you think can beat him (if anybody)?

Hatton @ 140, Judah @ 147, Winky @ 160 or whatever division he is in, these are the only 3 guys I see beating Mayweather and I don't think Mayweather will go to 160 to fight Winky..maybe at 154 but it's a slim to none chance if you ask me. Judah-Mayweather would be a very fascinating fight to watch, both skilled boxers with speed and some power, I think Mayweather has better footwork but Zab has more power..or maybe Floyd will just keep fighting no-hopers...

Hatton vs Maussa tonight.

Could've gone, but tickets are £50($100), should be a good fight with Hatton on a a high after beating Tszyu & Maussa isn't exactly a 'brush a-side' boxer. Should be good with both boxers being strong, versatile fighters.

Hatton's knockout punch against Maussa

One word...dayummmmm, Maussa just crumbled when that leaping left hook landed and that's a lot to say considering Maussa has one hell of a chin. Any thoughts of Hattons next fight? Hatton-Mayweather would be great but I doubt it will happen now that it looks like Mayweather has officially moved to 147..I don't think Cotto's management will put him up against Hatton yet. Personally, I'd like to see Jose Luis Castillo up against Hatton, a hell of a fight that would be. Another fight that I think would be very entertaining would actually be Ricardo Torres vs Hatton, I like Torres style and if he conditions better, I think it would also be a hell of a fight but I really doubt this one would happen because Torres isn't as well known was JLC. Who is the new WBC 140 champion now that Mayweather basically changed divisions anyway?

Well whoever Hatton is going to fight it is DEFINATELY going to be in America & I heard that Hobson wants him & Mayweather to go toe to toe. And I don't think one hell of a chin does Maussa justice, Hatton was landing some solid punches throughout the night & for most(bar the TKO) he didn't even flinch. What let Maussa down though was the fact that he didn't have a game plan & at times he was a little 'cocky' leaving his guard down & letting Hatton take a few strong punches to him.

Also Johnny Nelson won on points against Vincenzo Cantatore last night.

Didn't Johnny Nelsons next opponent fight on the same card he did last night? I forgot the guys name but I think he KOed some guy in Round 1, how long has Johnny held the WBO Crusierweight belt anyways? Around 6-7 years?

I think Hatton would demolish Torres. But thats just me, im not really convinced from Cotto's performance. He wasnt taking any of those punches very well.

But of course id love to see the Hitman go at it with Castillo, Corralles, Floyd, and Cotto. Id cheer him on against all of them but the only one I dont like his chances against is Floyd. But I dont like anyones chances against Floyd.

Hatton is capable though. He needs to fight smarter than he did against Maussa. NASTY ko.

Has any other Australian foxtel subscriber seen the ppv adds for Green and Mundine? They make it sound like there fighting each other, good advertising I guess. Is the Hopkins fight on december 2nd?

Jermain Taylor beat Bernard hopkins again. I didn't see the fight, but apparently it was very similar to the last one. Taylor kept winning the early rounds, and then Hopkins made a late surge that came up short. It was 115-113 on all 3 judges scorecards I believe.

What I'm wondering is, how could B-Hop make the same mistake twice? You'd think an experienced champ such as himself would realize that the same thing that happened in the first fight was happening again and he lost too many of the early rounds. I thought that Taylor would win again, but I thought that Hopkins would at least not let him dominate the early rounds again...

Apparently it was pretty boring, Im sorta glad I never payed money for either. The replays will do ok.

Im a big Hopkins fan but ive almost grown accustom to him saying he's gonna kill or knock someone out when you know he's just in there to play chess.

Pretty much. B-Hops is old and needs to retire, I saw some clips and it was if like he was throwing one punch at a time and had no offense. Of course since he wasn't doing anything in offense, his defense was superb but yeah, gotta throws some punches once in a while.

Lol, it's cool we all have to start somewhere wink.gif Anyway I haven't heard of this show, probably because it's on PPV and I usually never spend any money on PPV unless the fight, or in this case a show, is amazing.

Lots of fights today, in England you have Williams getting a SD against Harrison (heard the British broadcast and they made it seem much more exciting then it really was), Khan TKOs Daniel Thorpe..Khan has good hand speed and his power looked alright.

Wright got a UD against aussie Sam Soliman in a fight that Soliman threw over 1,000 punches..I thought Soliman was exhausted after the 3rd round but damn he didn't let up at all. However, when you have 14% landing ratio when you throw over 1,000 punches..not exactly good accuracy.

In Puerto Rico Ivan Calderon out boxes some former world champ easily and basically shuts him out..if Calderon had some more power he would definately be worth to watch. Also, former linear heavyweight champ, Shannon Briggs KOs some undefeated Brazilian fighter (he was like 23-0 with 22 KOs) in JUST 16 seconds!! Man I sure want to see that knockout happy.gif
