toBz_07
Heya, I couldn't find a thread or post for this so I might as well make one. Does anybody know what's gonna be excluded from the PS2 version to the Xbox version? E.g. "There's gonna be less blood", "Disabled feature of picking up prostitutes" etc etc (Those are just an examples) I'm really worried that they might put less violent actions on the Xbox versions . So does anybody know? If so, please post as much information as you got!!! THANKS!!! Ohhh btw, it woud help if you could find out about the 'Australian' version since I'm from Australia. But if you guys can't, anything would be a great help!!! Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/192003-exclusions-in-the-xbox/ Share on other sites
Opius
I doubt they'll be changing anything between versions in the same geographical area. However, if you're in Germany, for example, I still wouldn't expect to be able to get money off dead people. toBz_07
Yeah I read up on about how Germany's version has those restrictions (less violence etc). I hope it doesn't apply to the Australian version cause that would really suck lol!. It just disappointed me in the GTA 3 & Vice City version that they got rid of some features such as picking up prostitutes (for fun and health reasons lol! ), less violence etc. (Correct me if I'm wrong in any way) I just hope they don't do the same to the Xbox version! HinGTA
Why the double post? You could have just edited your last post. And your question has already been answered before by Opius. Cran.
Australian Version will not be edited. It was like that with the PS2 version, and it will not change for Xbox or PC. GTA3Freak-2001
Going by the PS2 version being fully un-edited I would assume that the PC and Xbox version will be the same. jesushumper
I'm 100% Positive there'll be a fix for it . If needed. ...eventually Or buy it, then download a NA version. Hell if i had to to buy a censored copy, I'd mod it myself. Of course you could always buy it from another country. 23 days to go... sheesh. I need a three week coma Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/192003-exclusions-in-the-xbox/?do=findComment&comment=2840109 Share on other sites
nlitement
Why such thing in Germany anyways? Someone could explain? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/192003-exclusions-in-the-xbox/?do=findComment&comment=2840285 Share on other sites
quick99
I never knew they took out the picking up of prostitutes in vice city xbox, well in australia at least. They do have all the features that they do in the ps2 vesion in north america, but if they dont have certain features where you live chances are in san andreas you wont be able to have the feature either if they were cut out in vice, It depends where you live in the end some countries like germany dont have the money thing as was mentioned earlier. shotupcrackdealer2
[glow]it would suck if they banned sanandreas from australia like they did with leisure suit larry. toBz_07
Yeah they did actually censor a few things on the Xbox versions of Vice City and GTA 3. I didn't take notice till my friend told me and when I went over to his house on a later day. It got me off my seat when I found out and I just hope IT DOES NOT HAPPEN TO SAN ANDREAS FOR XBOX WHEN IT COMES OUT@ lol! Lethal_Sense
It's ok guys lol RELAX lol The Xbox & PC version of SA WILL NOT BE CENSORED! As i have said before, it was passed uncut as a multiplatform game last year! The PS2 version is UNCUT, so will be all other versions! Games censorship here in AUS has gotten alot more lax since GTA3 lol They let The Punisher, State of Emergency, Shellshock Nam 67, etc. None of them was edited before or after release. So don't worry guys Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/192003-exclusions-in-the-xbox/?do=findComment&comment=2860523 Share on other sites
