Cran.
I don't own a PS2, so of course I'm buying it mainly for the orginal game. But San An is going to have some great mods and TC's for it

HinGTA
TC = Total Conversion. I'm buying SA for the game since I don't own a PS2. I resisted the urge to give into Sony but I kept reminding myself that the PC version will be so much better.

Neu_Lyf
Gta San andreas is the first pc game i'm gonna buy from a pc store  where i live the pirated versions hit the streets before the retail versions hit the store and since i dont have a ps2 i have no other option but to but the game   and donald TC - Total conversion ( which changes the gameplay or the locations or other stuff totally different from the real stuff) it like a huge mod
GTAGuy
I'll be getting it for the game, since I don't own a PS2 and I've never ever played it. I'll also be getting it for the mods, and while I play through the game with everything stock, Oleg should be working on a DFF filter for Zmod 2 so I can mod it when I get 100%. Jordan
I am getting it to replay it again and to view the state in all of its graphical beauty. I also hope that car modelers will put their skills to use in other ways than "here is a Ferrari 9000" because we have just about all of the cars that we need that can be transferred from the Vice City mod pile. Skyline_man
Iam surely getting it to play the original game first since i dont own a PS2, after beating it, ill start modding the hell out of it
Samutz
I'm getting it one of three ways. 1. My parents wouldn't quit bugging me about what I wanted for my birthday, so I asked them to get it for me when they go to Austin on Jun 10th (I live in the middle of nowhere, so I can't just drive to my local, non-existant game store). 2. I have a friend that owes me, so I might hit him up to order it online for me. 3. If 1 and 2 fail, I might have enough cash to get it even though I'll be taking a trip a week before that'll sap most of my savings. Â And I'm getting it for just about any reason to get a GTA game for PC. Missions, modding, and chaos. Plus I haven't played the PS2 version and have been strenuously ignoring my friends' spoilers. scabo19
Of course people are getting the game to play it like normal. What do you think man? That there are no gta pc players out there who dont possess ps2s?u're wrong if you do.I can at least speak for myself.I rather gta on pc than any console its so much better. We get to view the game for the first time in its full glory.Isnt that just wonderful? phant0mhax0r
Wow so many people without a PS2 Â I've completed the game 100% twice for ps2 and im definitly gonna get SA mainly for the mods and the possiblity of making stunt videos without expensive capture cards. Aswell as just crusing around admiring the graphics. I will still do the missons but the main reason is to mod, cruise and stunt! Guest
I am unsure about getting it. My PC specification were so last year and can just about cope with RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. I love to listen to my own music in the game (well, I did that in GTA III/VC).
GTAKhaoZ
I'm getting it for the PC because I don't own a PS2. I have, however, played a tiny portion of it on my friend's PS2 and absolutely loved it. But I held out on paying $200 US just so I could get a PS2 just so I could play SA when it came out, because I just knew that it would be so much better on the PC. And no, not just because of the mp3s, those are just an added bonus (which I do take advantage of). Full resolution crisp textures, mp3s, and having the freedom to move about on foot with a kb/mouse... what more could you ask for? (Screw co-op, I have no reason to want it). donald4444
Well, nice that there are so many people out there that haves the same opinion as me. I actually do not own a PS2 myself. Â 33 days left. (In europe).
salibaba
im the same as most of u guys too, I dont have a PS2 I would have borrowed it from someone and played it on my bro's PS2 but its f*ckd so there goes that plan. Plus I've seen all the screens and gameplay movies that I can find and that just does not cut it in my eyes, The PC version will look so much better as im sure the Xbox version will too, but i also like the other features like mp3s and skins n mods. I also managed to refrain myself from getting a PS2 and buying the game to go with it, and I will be rewared on june the 8th when it comes through that mail slot for me( in UK preordered through amazon) then it gets fired into the computer and I stay there all week till I get 100% Im gonna try and get 100% without cheats/hints/maps from the net no matter how long it takes me, thats the fun ( and frustration) of the game. Â Â Will anyone just buy the game and play it with cheats n stuff all the way through??
HKB
GTA belongs to the PC... Wu Masta James
I'm hoping they try a multiplayer mod for San Andreas and also the mods make it a lot better. It's gotten old playing it on the PS2 over and over again.
galamaheit 10 000
I am getting it for PC, not for the mods, but for the technology+controls. Back in January I almost gave in from waiting to get a PS2 for $150 at future shop. But instead, I rented a PS2 from blockbuster when I was in Victoria, just to try it out. I rented two games, San Andreas(for obvious reasons) and that Medal of Honour(to compare with my much beloved PC conterpart) . The first thing I realized about the PS2 when i plugged it in was how much I hated the controller. Because i am solely a pcgamer, using this dinky little PS2 controler was useless. I found it impossible to control. Then i saw the graphics, draw distance, etc.... You know how that story goes... The controls were especially horrible for socom. PC is where games are meant to be played everyone. So I gave up on my PS2 dreams and decided to wait it out for the superior version, and believe you me, it will be amazing. I don't use a lot of mods, just mta (the MTA "blue" looks good, can't wait). Â Â Never give in to a console, "controllers"= DINKY+UNRELIABLE+INACURRATE Â Oh yeah, I won't be listening to any of that rap music, so I will definitly be putting more of my Rock & Roll MP3s in... MindCorrupt
Â Buying it for PC definately. Not only because I dont own a PS2, but because i find the controls on all controllers dodgy. It just cannot be compared to PC. And because its gonna look sexier on PC, with all the mods too. Â
