GroveStGangster
well let me explain. I was thinking all the banned members, there friends post for their unbannings in GTANetwork forum. Well those topics are spamming that place up. So i thought why not ask for a forum, where banned people and their friends can fight/argue to get the banned person unbanned. Can you take this to consideration? Edited April 27, 2005 by GroveStGangster
SWEETSAPRIK
This isn't needed. A whole forum for it? DaEagle most likely isn't going to be unbanned, so give it up. And if members can't stop from spamming that crap all over the place, then I'm sure the staff can ban them as well. PяopagaиdaIиc.
Svip
If it were in the real world and your life was based on it, I would say; "Okay." But since it's here and you can always find another website on the intraweb, then "No."
GroveStGangster
DaEagle is never going to be unbanned i don't want him unbanned. What makes you think i want him to be. He hates GTAF and doesnt want to be unbanned. I just posted this suggestion so it can help out people who think that their friend was unfairly unbanned. Also it can help the staff because the network forum wont be overflowed with unban ______ topics.
BigGamer
Oh Jesus no. We had a court forum on a much small GTA forum about a year and a half ago, and it was a complete waste of time. We had a money mod on that forum, so people were suing each other for the most random crap. On a forum this size, with all of the banned members this place has, all hell would break loose. GroveStGangster
Nah not sueing but formally asking to get their friends unbanned. And asking for them to get a second chance and showing information about their innocence.

BigGamer
Nah not sueing but formally asking to get their friends unbanned. And asking for them to get a second chance and showing information about their innocence. There are 22,695 banned members on this forum. Even 5% of those members asking for unbannage is just scary. Insane
I AM GOING TO GO AHEAD AND PRESIDE OVER THIS TOPIC, AND FIND YOU GUILTY OF STUPIDITY AND TREASON AGAINST GTAF (FOR STUPID SUGGESTIONS, AND ONES THAT HAVE BEEN BROUGHT UP BEFORE). AND WHY AM I TALKING IN ALL CAPS...BECAUSE MY PINKY HURTS AND THE CAPS KEY IS PAINFULLY FAR AWAY.
anuj
Insane stole my reply, so I'll just leave you with this: You seem to be mistaking the community for some sort of sovereign nation in which you can seek remedies and equities and whatnot. Well, you can't. Stop trying. Court dismissed.

Well, you can't. Stop trying. Court dismissed. x2, seriously, a damn forum is not a Democracy! People are banned. So what! It's not like you can't talk to them using AIM or MSN. It's waste. ...besides that I ain't sayin nuthin.
vALKYR
Not to mention Wheels said he would ban everyone on the spot if there would be any unban "campaigns" on this site. So why making a suggestion for a forum to support this ?
Chunky Lee Chong
If somebody wants to get unbanned, they can PM an Administrator. That's how it has been and always will be, because there's no reason to make everything public.
Justin
If somebody wants to get unbanned, they can PM an Administrator. That's how it has been and always will be, because there's no reason to make everything public. That's what I've always thought. But if that is so, how does banning members who PM spams work? Is there an additional option to deny them access to the PM system? Or am I missing something completely? @topic - bad idea. Very bad idea. Is there an additional option to deny them access to the PM system? Or am I missing something completely? Sometimes members are still allowed to use their Private Messenger even while they're banned (except for the PM spammers), and if they can't there are other ways of contacting a staff member. They can sent them a message in AIM, YIM, MSN or ICQ. They can also have a conversation on IRC. An e-mail can be sent. A new account can also be registered and can be used for PM's, although that would be against the rules. Think outside the box.
Luke2004
If you want to unban a member, you'll have to get in touch with them, therefore you'll find other ways of keeping in touch. As people have already said, aim yahoo msn and much more.
jimmy.
I just posted this suggestion so it can help out people who think that their friend was unfairly unbanned. Also it can help the staff because the network forum wont be overflowed with unban ______ topics. There isn't an overwhelming amount of un-ban topics, and they don't un-ban people here anyway. Plus there is enough drama on the forums as it is, so I don't think that having a whole section for un-ban topics is a good idea.
RearEndCollision
If someone is stupid enough to do something to get banned, then they don't really deserve the right to a trial of sorts. The only way for them to prove their worth is to contact an admin, and prove it to them in a one on one basis. Or just use PayPal like Chucky did. jacob.
Not to mention Wheels said he would ban everyone on the spot if there would be any unban "campaigns" on this site. I don't think he meant that, there have been several unban topics with the author not being banned.
