Hi..

Well, you probably remember me as being the worst graphic creator, but my mate requested me to make him an avatar (not for here) and personally I quite like it.. I was wondering if you could rate it, on telling me how to get better.. and what my bad points are.. well here's the image:

But, yeah, you pretty much improved. Like the dark to light feature.

It was actually my idea to make it fade, although I thought that because I've seen people do it before - it looks good.

Yes, it is quite well done although could do with a little tinkering with. The yellow 'bit' of the flame should also increase in size IMO. 7/10.
