kixflip
Whenever I remove something minor from a car model, I'm always left with a white, textureless mess. Example of the mess I realize that there is probably a topic on this already but I tried the search and found nothing, perhaps I wasn't looking in the right place. If someone could just point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. aad
when u edit something you need to re assign the textures to make it work better after that make a new txd with all the textures in the same order that is showing up in zmodeler or any other program u use. DexX
/* sort of, you do have to import the model with all of the textures extracted beforehand. however, if you didnt make any changes to the textures, then you can simply re-use the existing txd, you dont have to make a new one if none of the images changed. */ Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/189534-small-txd-question/#findComment-2787207 Share on other sites
kixflip
I'm sorry but how would I go about reassigning the TXD's. Would I use a modeling program or a TXD program? jacob.
You can use ViceTXDs for editing txd archives, TXDBuilder for building your own, and IMGTool for extracting/importing/replacing them into the GTA3.IMG. All of these tools can be found at any popular modding website. Codename: Vice will probably have them.
