magical_trevor
Recently, I've noticed that when a staff member has moved a thread, it gets duplicated in the forum that it has been moved from, like this: If you go to the forum where it got moved to, there is only one copy of the thread. Why does this happen? edit- by the way, I'm using IE and the default skin. Edited April 23, 2005 by magical_trevor
GT-1
When staff moves threads sometimes you get re-directed and the move was successful or sometimes the white blank screen appears, I guess if you hit refresh then it will load twice creating this. Its just like a accidental double post at a guess, its nothing major. I've never seen it happen to me so thats what I guess it would be. Unless someone created the exact same topic twice. Nah, it's an error reading the database. For some reason moved topics get messed up and is sometimes it is read twice in the MySQL query. I am not completely sure how this forum does it, but it would surprise me if it created a new table for moved topics, and just told a field that the topic was moved and where it was moved to. Have anyone noticed if it has the same id when moved? If so then it's quite clear. And I am guessing both links direct to the same clothes. I am not so clear on what the problem is, but it must be an error in the database ( cause if they do have extra rows for moved topics, then it seem they are created twice ). Raindancer
Sometimes when i hit "move this topic" it takes ages, so i hit the button again. and that sometimes doubles itself.
