These particular scans are kinda blurry, but... these all seem to me to look a lot more realistic than what we've seen in the PS2 version. It strikes me as just the coloring being a lot more subtle, and maybe just the static shadowing of the map being more sophisticated. The PS2 version was extremely saturated with color, and unnecessarily bright/contrasting. So not only do these shots look sharper (which we'd expect), it seems like they've done a good job of bringing the overall feel down to earth a little bit. So not only do these shots look sharper (which we'd expect), it seems like they've done a good job of bringing the overall feel down to earth a little bit. ya i agree with you so much on that. ive only played GTA 3 and VC on PC, never on PS2 or XBox, and SA was the first GTA game where ive looked at PS2 screenshots, etc, and it feels on PS2 like the game has a color palate of 16 or something. now on GTA the colors look so much richer, blend together and there are so many more shades, and just make things much more realistic and vibrant. for instance, the sky on SA PS2 is usually just one solid color from most of the screens ive seen, whereas in on the PC/Xbox, the sky is a multitude of colors blended amazingly together Edited April 22, 2005 by excalibur69 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It looks the same when i play it on my mates PS2, but its really small TV so maybe the pixels look less scratchy and perhaps the colour looks better on a smaller TV.
