Here's a tough one - apart from his obvious drug-dealing connections, what was Smoke's ambition for later in life?

Did he want to be a rich businessman?

- Holmes

i think holmes got it, but im just gonna put down a few things that i remember him saying in "end of the line":

I made it, CJ! I'm a success. I can't be touched!

I got caught up in the money, the power...

I had no choice... I had to do it... I just see the opportunity. When I'm gone, everyone gonna remember my name... Big Smoke!

so i gather from this that he wanted fame, money, power, and for everyone to know his name. but still, holmes has it.

Big smoke wanted to be a "saver"

On one the advertisements for the big smoke orphanage, you here him saying something similiar to:

"When my mother asked em what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said I wanted to be a saver"

It was either saver or saviour, but i think it was saver....

Thats VERY close, but not quite the correct answer smile.gif

Anybody? I'll post the answer soon smile.gif

Based on listening to WCTR News report #5, I thought Evil Gnomes was correct with "saviour" (or "savior" depending on your English dialect) so I had just been waiting for you to confirm that, lol. I guess I'll have to start thinking again...

I guess Evil Gnomes was the closest - the answer is he was thinking of going into the ministry later in life smile.gif You'd have to be sharp to catch that though.

Minitry, Saviour, whats the difference?

Easy question:

After you complete the game 100%, how many parked hydras are there, and where?

I believe that there's five (Three on carrier, one on Sweet's house, and one at Verdant Meadows.)-JD-

5.

2 at Area 69

1 at San Fierro Naval Base

1 at Verdant Meadows Airstrip

1 at Sweets house.

If correct, My Question is:

Which Vehicle in GTA san andreas shares the name given to a mournful poem about something or someone who has deceased?

Wrong. Muahaha

EDIT

Heres a better definition:

A poem or song composed especially as a lament for a deceased person.

Elegy

Alright. Let's see how well this goes over. There are ways to find the exact answer but I'm hoping they can also be guessed.

Many missions give respect as a reward for completion, although the actual number isn't listed on screen. Name the 4 missions which give the most respect.

I thought it was 'Eulogy' not 'Elegy' though it could be different in America...

Anyways:

1 - Breaking The Bank At Caligula's (100)

2 - Los Desperados (60)

3 - Lure (50)

4 - Yay Ka Boom Boom (60)

5 - Toreno's Last Flight (50)

There's a multitude of them have a 40 respect boost...

EDIT: Oops, had Lure as 40 not 50. Guess it doesn't matter all that much.

EDIT2: Got some wrong tounge.gif.

@Macs: you got 2 of the 4.

I thought it was 'Eulogy' not 'Elegy' though it could be different in America...

A Eulogy is not necessarily a poem; it's usually just a speech or testimonial recited at the service.

(Eulogy definition || Elegy definition)

Anyways:

1 - Breaking The Bank At Caligula's (100)

2 - Los Desperados (60)

3 - Lure (50)

4 - Yay Ka Boom Boom (60)

5 - Toreno's Last Flight (50)

EDIT: Oops, had Lure as 40 not 50. Guess it doesn't matter all that much.

Geez, M17, if you're gonna go pulling out the actual values, at least get the answer right. You missed the most obvious one with the highest respect given. tounge2.gif

According to my guide, End Of The Line only has a 40 respect boost. If it is the highest then I'd say:

1 - Breaking The Bank At Caligula's (100)

2 - Los Desperados (60)

3 - Lure (50)

4 - Yay Ka Boom Boom (60)

5 - End of the Line (Something more than 100)

Your guide is wrong; slap the author with a wet fish. breadfish_by_Moto.gif Assuming I ignore Lure in your answer since I only asked for the top 4, your answer is now right. The actual values, taken from the version 1 PC SCM are as follows:

  1. End of the Line - 150
  2. Breaking the Bank @ Caligula's - 100
  3. Los Desperados - 60
  4. Yay Ka-Boom-Boom - 60

M17 is up.

Meh it was Brady Games, what the hell was I expecting.

If these make no sense, tell me:

1) If I take ES from Snail Robert, which heavyduty vehicle do I get?

2) Jim Carrey likes to drive this to the Cinema.

3) Owner of the Whyte House in 007.

4) It's more Shaikh than Sleek.

5) The Doodle Pigeon truck.

Man after 200 odd pages it's hard to think up reasonably challenging questions confused.gif.

I dont get it sad.gif

Evil, it's the old standby of vehicle name references. For instance, the answer to #2 "Jim Carrey likes to drive this to the Cinema." is probably Majestic. That is the name of a car in San Andreas and Jim Carrey starred in a movie called "The Majestic" which, in part, is about restoring a rundown old Cinema.

That was the one answer which jumped out at me at first glance; might try to get the others later.

EDIT: and #1 is probably CargoBob, related to Escargo (french for snail, I probably spelled it wrong) minus the "ES" and Bob being short for Robert.
