Out of control karma?

I'm sure most of you have noticed that the gang chat's karma has very significantly increased within the space of 24 hours. I was wondering if this was something to do with the actual hack itself, or if it is just a coincidence that a lot of members have voted good for all the topics in such a short time.

I don't remember where, but I read someone say something like "threads have been deleted so the remaining threads karma went up".

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it works that way. I thought that it was based soley on who voted for that thread, and what they voted. I didn't think that other threads had anything to do with it.

 

So now I'd like to know, just incase I was wrong.

I think its the staff making sure gang topics dont get bad ratings.

No clue about admins, but us mods can only vote once like everybody else. I think the gang area karmas fluctuate constantly because people vote for their gang, click back and look around seeing the others, and disperse their votes accordingly. It's bound to stop I guess.

By the way, it's "were the big red letters really needed" using both "really", and "seriously" is redundant, and when you can't even tell what tense you're speaking in, you sound stupid.

I think you just sounded pathetic explaining something that no one really cares about. Everyone got the point of what he was trying to say, if you didn't, then you need to improve your logic.

 

On-Topic: It seems to have slowed down, but I wonder if it will happen again. If it does then won't the statistics just get more and more difference between what it states, and what it should be?
