Actor Actions

what do I type to make an actor do these?

kill player_char

kill another actor

make the actor follow player char

make the actor follow another actor

make the actor walk to a certain x y z position

make the actor go to a car and drive it

give the actor a weapon

make an actor

make the actor have immunities to everything

This is just lazy. Read the disassembled script. Look for when it does these things. You can't write script if you are unable to follow existing script.

Look around in the opcode database or the OPCODES.TXT..

 

Oh, and F1 is your friend.

Nearly all of those have their own associated OpCodes - they're dead easy to find.

0321: kill_actor $8F7 The actor will kill another actor

 

0322: kill_player $PLAYER_CHAR The actor will kill the player

 

015F: set_camera_position 219.726 -1282.485 12.53 0.0 0.0 0.0 Set the camera position

 

Those are only 3 I found but I found them all
