Greg-J
This is just to show that we're making progress on bringing GTA style gameplay to the Source engine. It's a very early alpha, and believe me - we know about all the bugs. It may not look like much, but there's alot of code behind the simplest things. Since recording this today for instance, the sound bug and the some model bugs have been fixed. I suggesst getting at least the 15 meg version. .::UPDATE::. Several people have experienced trouble playing the videos so I have encoded them in BINK exe's and WMP. The binks look really bad, but they'll play on any windows computer. The .wma are not done uploading yet, so give it an hour or so. You'll know when they're done uploading when you can refresh the page and filesize doesn't change. Opius
Are they all the same video with different bitrates, or is there different content for each? In any case, I can't watch them at the moment, but I've seen some of your work and the people doing it in Editing, so I'm sure it's good.
Greg-J
Same video, different bitrate. I know 56kers would have a problem with 25meg vid.
GTA3Freak-2001
Hmm do these require any special codecs because the 384K version crashes Winamp and basially any other avi capable player? Make that the 128K version too so I take it you need a certain codec?

Greg-J
Nice use of Eddy Browns cars Looks great fun. Yeah, they're good models. He was the first person to respond to us. Now we have in excess to 200 models we have permission to use, which is more than we could have asked for.
Waste
So, are these just captures from mods you are making? Or just messing around?
raunchy
That was truley awesome. Pity I don't have HL2 or a computer that could run it.
Greg-J
So, are these just captures from mods you are making?Or just messing around? I don't quite understand the question. It's a video made of ingame capture of the earliest stages of the mod.

Actually, you won't need to wait for a release to downloaded it. We have decided to adopt a public development model that traditionally only application developers have used. Starting in a couple weeks, anyone registered (we have no silly email varification to worry about, it's quick and simple) on our site will be able to download builds as we test them. www.fueledmod.com is the site. It's a copy of another site I have so you'll notice that some text and logo aren't proper, but it'll all look normal soon. But for now it serves its purpose. Greg-J
Our site is now almost polished (it looks alot better in firefox than it does in IE), and we've begun letting idlers in our irc begin playtesting.
