Giggle cream enthusiast Posted April 16, 2005 Share Posted April 16, 2005 something wierd happened when i was playing the mission where you have to blow the trucks and stuff up with the plane. i put my plane on the ground, used the bombs and my plane shot up into the air on fire. then i pressed f to get out of the plane and it exploded so i failed the mission but when i was back at the film studio i had 0 health but was still alive but all i could do was move nothing else and all the zombies were frozen. Oh man thats funny, I'm going to have to try that. P.S. I did notice my second mission worked after the save, because I refused to make it that far and keep going over and over again. I have completed the whole game without any errors. So I wonder am I lucky? bishop-brasil Posted April 16, 2005 Share Posted April 16, 2005 well, i download the mod from flipeorama and the game run(the my first download was from GTA junkies and don't work), but the my first mission start in the military base in a tank with a soldier shoting and going to the same place where tomy vercetty find the band lovejuice in the normal GTA, samebody can say me if this really is the first mission????? Fro Posted April 16, 2005 Share Posted April 16, 2005 If the launcher is not working, use the original EXE without the radio stations or violate the EULA and get yourself a cd crack, after renamings LIPS.adf to VROCK.adf and the others to whichever of the original vice radio stations you like. I cant do enymore missions. You kamikaze'd the soldier by flying his plane with him in it into the building with the tank. Which explains why you play with the Stoner guy afterwards. There's a few more missions that can be unlocked in the first Stoner mission (the one where you visit the PD in Ocean Beach) by freeing Crazy Mike from his cell in the lower level of the building with the keycard that can be found in the upper level. I just finished the mod...here's my opinion on it... Good: The all around atmosphere...it reminded me of Dawn of the Dead to see the zombies running towards the gastruck at the gasstation. The plot. Very ingenious to see a story told by different people and even getting to play them. The 'naptime' thing. I loved that. The mission when you get to bomb people. Oooh yeah. Bad: Not being able to return to the studio once you left it; imagine my surprise when I re-entered the studio jumping from a roof with a PCJ and finding hordes of zombies awaiting me inside... The ending; this was a bit dull to be honest... That it isn't said anywhere in the game you have to free Crazy Mike, whilst you have to to get to the final mission Drunk NPC's driving trucks... ...or flying helicopters.... My suggestions for a next time is to keep the dificulty of the missions...it really makes beating it a challenge. Has anybody found the remote grenades and the rafters on this mission? You don't HAVE to get to the final mission. The idea behind Crazy Mike, etc. is that we reward people for looking around. If you free Mike, you'll unlock 8 more missions. And a more satisfying ending to boot. I've pm'd the rest of you with problems. Yawmwen Posted April 16, 2005 Share Posted April 16, 2005 I can't seem to get it to work, I did everything it said and now it just says "Please insert Vice City disc or press ESC to cancel," and I am sure I installed everything, just when I open the second LN folder it has all these files so I transfered them to the main directory, can anyone help me with this? I was on the Prawn Island bridge when out of no where the truck decides to stop and have a Zombie take it when I had only one driver left. I had all the bikers dead and gone! About half way through loadin to start a game the computer will freeze and junk up the computer. im able to shut it down but it forces me to reboot the computer, has this happened to anyone else, or did i install it wrong?? I personally thoght that the mod could have been a bit longer and there were many bugs but many great levels. All of the levels were great fun and a bit of a challenge but until you get the hang of it it is easy. Thanx for a great mod!!! Make another mod.
