Smellton Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 Q. Why does it ask me to insert my vice city cd? A. Try running the game from gta-vc.exe. If you do this, you will have to manually implement the radio stations. You will find our stations in the AUDIOLC folder. To play them ingame without the launcher, you have to rename them to the Vice City names, LIPS.adf to VROCK.adf and so on, drop them in the regular AUDIO folder and use an illegal cracked copy of the exe to force the game to read radio stations from the hard drive. Matthew the modder Posted January 30, 2006 Share Posted January 30, 2006 Hey I learned somthing from testing don't know if this is already known but I took a completely unmodifeid vice city and only put the main.scm cus I was trying to install one peace at a time and it crashed right after loading so maybe it has to do whith the main.scm sorry for bad spelling but i'm typing fast. I aim for them, and end up blowing up thier bikes which causes an error =/ I love the mod so far! I released that Crazy guy, at which point does fat albert and the other guy come? Also I love how the game works, but sometimes the hordes are annoying (like that mission where you have to wait for the girl to get the insulin)... Do any of the gun shops still have guns? and are there any survivors in the city that aren't part of the mission? If not, might I suggest you make some? Also, try to fix the AI up abit, sometimes I drive a car into the water, jump out at the last second, and jump on the car, and the zombies jump into the water... Sorta funny because I've never seen a zombie drown... Also try to make it so the zombies attacks are more consistant... I get hit once and then I pickup the chainsaw and grind all of them! Also, if you release the next version, make it so we can re-enter every building, because that'd be friggen awesome! Edit: Forgot to mention, is the Radio supposed to play no songs? Because all I hear are broken radio sounds and my MP3 Player... Edit2:Thank PC Gamer March UK edition, because thats where I heard of this magnificent mod... Doh Forgot to backup my files, doesn't matter, I'll just buy another Vice City Disc (mine's a borrowed one) Edit3:You guys know how to fly the plane? Do I have to configure some keys in controls? And Dante was sorta right, if your lucky,the bikers will just push your truck, and the zombies don't even reach the truck...I laugh at the bikers now... Gold_skull Posted June 4, 2006 Share Posted June 4, 2006 The mod is realy awesome I got a question , in the game , after releasing Crazy Mike from his cell you get a lot of new missions , i passed all of them and got to the last mission that is called sun up or something . You mentioned urlier that the mod has diffrent endings but no mater how much i try to twist this up , i come across the same one . Can anyone tell me how i can get to the other endings ?
