Like Hard & Heavy was 73MB and I chopped it in half.... B2B I only lowered like 25%; don't want to upload files bigger than 50MB. Me and Juan don't need no stinkin nitros! I got a rules question, what if I submit a new video for Quad Quest? Would I get 40pts for 1st place and 20pts for 2nd? I ask because what if I want 1st place in a race I've already done? You can use the java map to see routes and possible start/finish locations. We try to pick something very clear like picking up an item or colliding with something so the exact instant of the finish is obvious... hope you have a good one for us! SWEETSAPRIK Posted April 18, 2005 Share Posted April 18, 2005 I couldn't enter for a few reasons, first my usb capture device blinks out every once in a while, so it'd look like I'd edited, and second my connection is so slow that it'd take me hours to upload a vid clear enough to view. But I ask because I run this route all the time just for fun, ( route ) and I'd be interested to see how other people do on it. I never use cheats, and almost always use nitro's. What car you use doesn't really matter because a car like the turismo (even though it's fast as hell) is far less likely to survive the whole thing than a slower but stronger one. Yeah, and just incase it wasn't obvious, I run it clockwise. If it's too big I understand, I just figured it would be worth a shot. PяopagaиdaIиc. It might be too long for video but I'll definitely try it.... where do you start? For SSR purposes I think the gas station at RS Haul might be a good place for clearly defined start and end positions; start on the sidewalk and finish by ramming into the pumps! SWEETSAPRIK Posted April 18, 2005 Share Posted April 18, 2005 I usually just start anywhere and then just end at the same spot, for SSR I was thinking start on the onramp in SF and make driving under the bridge, or through that intersection the finish, but anywhere you guys find to be fit, would be fine. I only started running this after having circled the whole map a few times. I read in a thread somewhere, someone saying that they circled the whole map on the outermost route, and a time came up on screen. I knew it was BS because I had already done it, using a few different "outermost" routes, and because there is no one outermost route, there are a few options. But it got me thinking of a race through all of the cities, and this is the shortest one that is survivable. (For me anyway.) As it is I usually end up driving a bit slower, and more careful through the last part of it just to stay alive. I've done it in about 15 different vehicles, and it's a pain in the balls to actually finish, mostly because even if you don't smash your car to pieces, you'll be almost finished and get rammed of the road into the water or something.
