I've never been a member and never will, thats my motto lol. But i'm getting it to 60 for yews. They bring 300ea. Anyone know any good places to cut yews, any near banks? Torcidas Posted May 2, 2007 Share Posted May 2, 2007 I'll tell you right now, cutting yews in F2P is more pointless than a snow jacket in the summer. I tried cutting yews in F2P, lets say, 5, 6 months ago, and it was ridiculous. Not only do they take long enough to cut, there's usually 3, 4 people to a tree, and at least 3/4 of them are auto-bots. Yews in members is like a dream come true. You can nail serious cash cutting them, and you can almost double your profit with a considerably high fletching level. Before I quit, I had 96 fletching, and I just made massive amounts of money. Selling your yews is a lot easier too. They are always in demand, and you can use the RuneScape forums to your advantage. Currently, I have 3 accounts, and I'm probably going to start playing again, if I do not go back to WoW. Here are my chara's with some nice levels. Thrash Mask (89) - 96 Fletching Latios0 (94) - Higher stats than Thrash Mask, but less total xp. Queen Thrash (54) - 77 Range, 63 Mage, 69 HP. It has so many advantages that you'll never go back to being on a free account. I mean, houses! C'mon! You have to admit that houses are pretty bitchin'. Only thing is, they're definately for the rich. Not the middle class, and definately not the poor. The rich. I spent 2,000,000GP on my house and it only has a dining room, kitchen, small entrance room, living room, and a room I'm planning on putting a staircase in for the upper story (for the bedroom, of course). Was expecting some cool reward but only got some str pots, arrows and stuff. Been watching some vids of people killing the Kalphite Qween, i'd so fail at that sort of thing. The graphics team have been working extra hard to produce what will be arguably the best looking graphics in the game, and boy is the Kalphite Queen pleased they chose her to put all these efforts into But I haven't seen it yet. It's not like you're going to be getting mad-ass amounts of them either, there's been times where it's taken over 5 minutes of solid chopping to get one log! If you are a member, I suggest you train on Maples and use that to your fletching level advantage. At 70, then start at yews. If you aren't a member.... Then it sucks to be you.
