Liberty City Get-To Guide

@ Dark-Xavien  - I've never had any problems getting over the walls during the mission. I used to do it using grenade blasts to propel jumps until the superjump button cheat came out.

Issa - You need more than just the Jetpack cheat to reach Liberty. Although the Hidden Interiors topic was originally created for people without cheat devices, it also includes many that do require these. The glitch that allows the jetpack to work at that height only functions within a certain area. Not only is Liberty outside this area (the 'Red-zone') it is also much higher than most interiors. This means it was thought impossible to get to before this technique was developed when the button codes started appearing.

Edison is using Gameshark in that video.

---------------------

Although this method has been talked about before I kind of see this topic in the same way I originally saw the Secrets and Easter Eggs Topic. Almost everything mentioned in it had been covered in other topics before, but It finally brought everything together in one place as a complete resource for others.

If this topic isn't pinned it should at least have a link in the first post of the Hidden Interiors thread.

I think a lot of this guide was unnecessary like this. You don't need to go to the crane or whatever in the country side or anything like that.

The only cheat you need is the Jetpack cheat not the quad. cars fly, parachute, etc... You don't need to be "packing for departure" because that is not needed to go to Liberty City. THis shouldn't be an official guide at all because ther is already a Pinned Topic on Hidden Interiors and going to Liberty City Via Ganton Gym and since it is pinned I think that one is official. You should of posted there. I'm probably wrong but maybe you are posting just for the sake of bragging in your signature.

Here is a video created by edisoncarter that starts from the outside of the Ganton Gym and shows you step by step how to go to Liberty City. The Video

More videos are at his site, a few more Liberty City exploring videos and cheats.

I never said you needed to go to the crane... I just said that you'd see the crane on your way. If all you are going to do is criticise my guide, get the hell off my board.

When Edison made that video, he had the Infinite Height cheat on. Therefor, if you don't have a cheat device, you can't follow that video exactly. And anyways, I created this topic because it is worth having it's own topic. No, I'm not bragging, I'm just referring people to this guide. I'll have you know that many people have read my guide, and have profited from it, so it isn't just mindless words thrown together to look nice. So, unless you want to continue acting like an asshole (oh, I'm sorry, I forgot - you don't need to act) shut the hell up and go see a shrink.

@Ben- Well written guide pal

Off-Topic @Ben- Some of your accomplishments aren't really your accomplishments. The andromeda has been known to not be able to access without a cheat device for a very long time, the 'Ninja Survival' game was made by Mxy along time ago in his Ninja movie, and the white dildo or whatever was also found a bit ago.

one question on-topic:

i got a bit shocked.. after reading the guide and this:

Posted: Mar 24 2005, 02:09 ??

Posted: Feb 4 2005, 20:36 ??

..

mhh, take a look here: http://www.forum.sanan.de/showthread.php?t=260 posted 02.02.2005, 07:46 and the idea behind it was from last year but last year there was no floating cars cheat so i only could fly with the hydra and the helicopter inside these two black hells / interior universes, i have done videos last year showing it, .. on 2.2.2005 i finally gave myself the time to do it, before i didn't had the time and the appetite/lust/notion to do it...later i posted it also on another well known american forum because someone asked how to do it...but the german post was the original one, i also wrote an email to some people that have written some game faqs about that stuff but they gave me no answer.. i wanted to help but what is see is just like a copy and paste? maybe it's not but it feels like it is..

so one only and simple question? is it easy to paste and copy or to sell stuff as the own stuff? i really got a bit shocked after reading these threads.. don't take it too personally but i really do ask it myself.. *wondering*

and one thing to add.. without edisoncarter's cheat discoveries it would have been never come to such a solution/guide at this time.. so the only word i have to say thank you edisoncarter you made it possible

greetings from germany

What part of the wall should I try and jump over then? I tried flying over with the jetpack again and invisible barrier prevents me from going over. Is there a specific spot I should go inorder to get over?

Another question: Is my copy of San Andreas the only one that gets a error reading message every ****ing 5 minutes, or doing any of you get the same problem.

I know it's not the disk it's in excellent condition. And my system is fine to I had it checked by my friend the computer whiz, cause I don't trust Microplay.

My immediate answer is "Everywhere", but I've just started the mission up again so I'll check now.

When I was doing this it was while reading this topic:

St Mark's Bistro Located and Explored

As you know the jetpack doesn't work at that height normally and there was no known way without a gameshark or something the last time I tried, so what's the trick?

Is the invisibler barrier a continuation of the wall vertically, or more like a ceiling?

I'll edit this when I can clarify where to jump.

EDIT: If you have a working jetpack up there, then I can't see any reason why it wouldn't go over the walls. I didn't use one. I just used the superjump cheat. That worked everywhere. Some places are still too high, but if you start from a mound of snow you can get over the back wall or the ones on the right that lead to the alley.

It helps if the Forelli you don't kill is the one that rolls out on the stairs before the kitchen. He always takes a while to come and find you, so that gives you a bit of time.

My first thought was that you were mistaking the jet-pack's crapness at this height to be caused by a barrier, but you said you'd also tried the superjump. In a minute I'll switch PC's to one where I can edit a map of the bistro.

Actually, I found the White Dildo & the 2nd vibrator just after Edison found the cheat, but I made the thread on GTAWH... with the Andromeda thing, I proved that it isn't solid when it is flying around. I fell through it by accident. The ninja survival thing I also posted on GTAWH, about 1/2 an hour after the cheat came out.

@enforcA : The only GTA sites I've been to are the following, so I have no knowledge of that link before I read your post:

GTAWH.com

Gta-sanandreas.com

Any similarity between my guide and the guide I cannot read, is purely coincidental. I'm not billingual, and the only way I know that's german is because you said Greetings from Germany at the end of your post, so I'm assuming its german. I cannot read that, and I definately cannot copy it.

Just to clarify a few things tounge.gif

BritishGangsta45
Good guide , Not as good as mine ,but pretty damn good.

Now, BritishGangsta, I've noticed that your little guide was updated not a minute after you posted your rather pointless post. It now closely resembles mine. I suggest that you change it, because piracy will not be tolerated. I have alerted Barguast to this problem, and it will be dealt with. die2.gif

I didn't change any of the words all I did was fix a cheat and make it more reader friendly. I didn't even read your guide I just skimmed through it. I swear smile.gif

Using the jetpack you just spawned, fly to that marker. Make sure you do not fly to low, or you will lose the interior and will have to reload your game and try again. While flying, if you see a black box with 'Loading...' flash on the screen even for a millisecond, you've gone too far down.

When you're at the marker you placed on your map, you'll see a yellow arrow floating about, not unlike the ones found at enterable buildings. Approach this arrow from the south, and you'll land on an invisible but solid ground. Release your jetpack and run into the marker to enter the Warehouse.

I can't find the yellow marker, thingy!! angry.gif

Ben Fleming

You might be too high to see it... hold the L2 and R2 to hover, and R1 to aim. Look down and see if you can see it. The first couple of times I was wondering where the hell the marker was, but then I noticed I was too high up. Give it a go, and see if that works.

Ben Fleming
Ok. I fond the marker but when I get to the garage, I fly to the point, do exactally as you said in the guide and I always land in water! angry.gif

What do you mean by land in water... do you land in the water before or after you make it to the Doherty Garage exterior area...? If you just fly straight down, you will hit water... let the game force you down itself, then just try to keep level at where it drops you to... if you need to, put in the parachute cheat to see your altitude.
