Season 8 was allright I guess, but not a patch on seasons 4-6, that was the peak. Lets hope season nine tickles our funnybones eh. In the ninth season, one of the citizens of South Park undergoes a sex change operation, Butters sees dead people and Cartman takes on his lifelong enemies...hippies! 901 - Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina Airdate: 2005-03-09 This week on South Park, Mr. Garrison is getting a sex change. The boys have to help Mr. Garrison get his testicles out of Kyle's knees! Mr. Garrison goes to great lengths to get what he’s always wanted…a sex change. As he enjoys his new womanly attributes, the rest of the town gets in touch with their inner feelings too. Not that they were much more than an extra glinto n a bright light, every season is tiptop (save perhaps the first few episodes, before the humor got a little more subtle.). Up in Canadia, on "The Comedy Network", we will either get the epsidoes 1/2 a year late, or a week or two late. I have my fingers crossed. Lemmiwinks never made his reappearance like Matt and Trey promised last season. Perhaps he'll make his comeback in season 9. Ive always been waiting for that return. That episode absolutaly cracked me up. In fact ive enjoyed most all of seasons 4-8 so far. Going back and watching season 1 now is REALLY wierd. The one where Stan goes to the forest and meets a bunch of cute animals.......that worship satan. Then they end up giving birth to the antichrist and Stan has to teach the mountain lions how to give an abortion. Another favorite of mine is the one where they're all stranded on a bus that's about to fall off the cliff. They all remember past events, just ending them differently. They've been building up Cartman's hate for Hippies so long that I don't think they could have delivered the expectations. I did like the part about the Mayor killing herself only to show up later with a bandage on her head with blood coming out of the entrance and exit wounds. I liked the Armageddon parody and the whole cliche with the black guy always sacrificing himself in movies whenever the entire crew runs into trouble.
